Update: The District Page has been updated to reflect District 10 being added. With a quick link to all posts regarding D10 (of course it’s just this post for now…but as more is added they’ll go there). You can also access the District page from the Menu via Tips and Tricks..then Districts. There’s also a quick link on the sidebar that will show an image of Pawtucket Brewery District. UPDATE BUNNY: A lot of items will be resolved in the 1.6 Updates coming… unable to unlock characters, drop down menus (Go, Item Requires) in Pawtucket Brewery, and a few other patches… so keep an eye out for it later.
As for Lois having TWO options to drop Dulcet Tones, here is what TinyCo said on it…
this is working as intended! Lois’ longer action time has a higher chance of dropping the item, so players can choose between the shorter or longer time based on their own schedule.
So an intended option for players to get those drops at a higher rate for a lil longer task. The choice is up to you.

Sorry for the delay on this one, both of us were traveling and I couldn’t get to a signal. Anywho… NEW LAND!!! District 10 is now open for you to start working on and clear. 
In order to start this, you would have needed to complete District 9 (Wild Wild West Mayor) and Jerome will start of the dialog to allow you to enter the new District 10 and start clearing land in “Home Brew”.

So TinyCo has decided to go ahead and release the new District 10 and of course that means some cool new stuff. All of this resembling a very familiar “kids” show? Lol. Let’s take a look at the new items.
DISTRICT 10
Once you trigger the dialog with Jerome, you will be prompted in “Home Brew” Part 1 to Enter the District and Clear the land around the damaged Pawtucket Brewery.
New Land:
There are 3 areas of land to purchase. All will take 20hrs to clear…however you must unlock 1 area before you can get to the area that will clear the Brewery.
So you must clear land from 1 or 2 before you can get to the land at 3. Land areas 1 and 2 will cost $15,000 each, while 3 costs $16,000 (at least I think that’s what it said. I tapped to quickly…if anyone sees a different number please let me know)
Once cleared you will be able to start work repairing Pawtuckety Brewery. Once repaired, you will be able to start creating items.
NEW BUILDINGS
Perma-Suds Laboratory– 175 Clams, $40 & 60 XP every 12hrs, ALWAYS drops Bubbles, Silver Ticket or Tap Handle. Unlocks an 8hr task for Chumba Wumba Stewie.
Pawtucket Brewery- $25,000, 4hrs. This is IN the district…you’ll have to repair it. Remember you won’t find this in the store. The Brewery is your key to Crafting things (think Cauldron or Toy Workshop).

I only have the Permanent Suds builying and the Beer River showing as available to purchase in my cart….none of the other items show. Will they show once I have unlocked the Pawtucket Brewery or should everything be there now? I also have the Rite of Passage showing up again in my cart!

since the release of District 10,
I’ve been seeing the Rites of Passage Tower under the buildings tab, which is weird since I completed it and got Jillians building awhile ago. Is anyone else seeing this?

I switched sd cards and then put the white picket fences from the American Dad event in storage and I’m back in my game again. (Yaaaaaay ^_^ ) But now I don’t see any of the craftables items showing up for the tasks that are supposed to drop them. Do I have to repair the brewery first?

TinyCo must have fixed the section clearing bug, because last night it only allowed me to do one area at a time. I got the “don’t get ahead of yourself!” message when I tried to do section 2. Now I’m behind on clearing land.

I got so excited when I saw this new post because I thought the 1.6 update was finally out- thus resolving my character unlocking issue that I’ve been stuck on for over a month. But no!!!! I’m so frustrated!! Do you know when the update is coming?

Only missed the event where king butt is and cleveland is free so eventually I bought cleveland. This then means I’ve been playing a while, one question… I know it’s a district not an event so will you always be able to collect bottle caps, etc all the time? Like in 3 months from now if I was missing one of the decos would I still be able to collect stuff for it it is a district after all

This was a nice surprise to find this morning, got the first 2 strips of land clearing at the moment, and I’m working on Stewies new outfit. I really like the way Tiny Co are doing the Districts since D9, with new stuff being added each week, giving the Districts a good storyline, and how it keeps you busy between events. I’m looking forward to creating the items through the brewery, especially when we can start creating Chumba Wumpas.

The higher drop rate for Lois’ (or Lois’s? no native speaker here) second task, is what I assumed, but it is stated both time as “rare” next to the task. So I wasn’t going for the longer task. TinyCo missed a good opportunity to communicate the higher drop rate there.
That gives me some questions to the drop rate in common. So I assume each Item has occurrence class (common, uncommon, rare and so on), which results in the different colored outlines and is shown next to the related tasks.
The drop rate is not only depending on that items class, but also on the amount of time a task takes? A task which takes 24 h (like buildings often have, unless they drop it always) has a higher chance to drop an item of the same class than a task of 2 h?
So TinyCo did not miss to give us the information, but did not communicate the mechanics of a tasks time affecting the drop rate? Oh well, now the support might answer many times the same question about Lois’ two tasks 😛

Meh. I never pay attention to the drops listing. Not anymore. I don’t care what they are tagged, it ALWAYS is still random and varies by each player. Lol.
And they have spoken many times before about drops that the more you do them the better chance of a drop after each fail. So the higher times would account for that too.

When they opened district 10 yesterday, The Rite of Passage Tower appeared in my cart, even though I have already gotten this building It lists tasks to get gather items to get it, but the characters dont show those tasks. I am sure it is a glitch, and the building should not be there. Anyone else see this?

Me too. It asks that I collect 10 Party Hats, 10 2015 Glasses, 10 Champagne Glasses, and 10 Noise Makers, which I think is the same as Jillian’s apartment and therefore a bug.

The problem came up for me too, but after I was able to unlock Jillian a day after I clicked Brian and he unlocked. The game froze for a few seconds but then it worked.

Good timing on district 10, I just finished new years bunny Jillian’s last task and thought I’d be waitng another day for something to happen. I might nuke my town again, witch is a cool feature, to do something creative with the beer river and snap a shot. Thats what I like about this game, it brings out the creativity in people. Keep up the good work, and let’s see some plutonium soon.

Have you unlocked the brewery? That’s what it drops items for so maybe it won’t work properly until then.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that Lois has two tasks that give the same item? Why send Lois on a 6-hour quest to get the notes when the 4-hour quest is faster, gives the same item and has the same drop rate? 😛

With the new district, did they push the fix for not being able to unlock characters? I am still having that issue that my game crashes. Also unrelated – if you upgrade your workers can they do 2 different things or just do things faster?

No… that patch will be in 1.6+ update, so still watch for it.
If you upgrade, you have more workers. So it will go faster as you will then have two or more to help you out.

If I’m not mistaken back when sexy stewie was released you needed the musical notes for him and after he went away there was a glitch that let you keep getting the notes. Apparently those saved because now I have 13 of them. No complaints. Nice head start.

Advice question…I’m a freemium player sitting on 800 clams and have been waiting on something super cool to get while saving up. I only have 1 worker currently. Is it a good investment to get a 2nd worker for 50 clams?

It depends on how often you build things and clear land. It is good to have at least two in my opinion. 😉

I am also a freemium player and have 2 workers. SInce many events are including several required buildings or buildings which drop stuff, it’s a good advice to invest 50 clams in order to build 2 buildings parallel.

ditto. the first thing I did was buy a 2nd worker. that way you can trade off & always have a guy free if a sudden timed event hits. You don’t want to miss out just because your token guy is off clearing land!

I think it’s dumb having lois getting the music note in two different tasks for the same item. What is the point? I understand if it’s a same character getting 2 different items but the same character getting one item in two different task?

Well either it’s a glitch or I am really lucky BUT I wasn’t finished yet with D 9 but very close. I went into the game and the pop up for Jerome showed so I was able to start to clear D 10 and work on Stewie’s alt. I still working on the Mayor’s tasks though.

I would venture to say that it will be staggered. If you look at the Perm-suds lab, it shows items we aren’t currently collecting for the Chumba Wumba skin. Once we’ve cleared the land and are able to access the Brewery and Pawtucket Pat, my best guess is that is when those other locked tasks we see Brian has in his list will open. Also noticed that Joe has a longer task to Ferment beer and Quagmire has a two hour task to cap beer. Those weren’t there before. I’m thinking our ‘Bathtub Gin’ producers will also be included, Barb Pewterschmidt and Bruce. And being that it’s ‘all about the Clam, ’bout the Clam, Those Bubbles’ (parody on ‘All about the Bass, no Treble) we will see Peter and Joe heavily involved as well.

I woke up this morning to discover that the Pawtucket Brewery, District 10 is ready to be built! I had a lot of my characters (by guess work) already performing the tasks to obtain the materials for Chumba Wumba skin, so I’ve already got 4 spray tans, 2 toolboxes and a pair of Lederhosen. I hope that by the time by builders are finished I am finished with Stewie’s skin. It looks like there are other activities for other characters ie:) Brian dog paddling and sneaking in (requires creepy river ride) . So there is definitely more to be released. If you look at the Premium item it has different items to drop, too. So I’m thinking those items will be needed to unlock Pawtucket Pat …. After we repair the Brewery, of course.

I’m clearing district 10 currently, and now the game won’t let me build the restaurant for Brian and Jillian’s quest anywhere in my Quahog. Finishing that quest has nothing to do with brewery…so why can’t I build?? It keeps saying “clearing…want to finish for x number of clams”, (i forget exactly what it says but you know what I mean ;)) Anyone else having this issue??

That means your worker (s) are busy. They can only build one thing at a time. That is why you are seeing that message. 😉

Okay, this is completely stupid. Two of the ways to get the music note item for Stewie are with the same character. Even more ridiculous is the fact that it’s a 4 hour task with normal Lois and a 6 hour task with midlife crisis Lois. You would figure it would be less time for the people that unlocked midlife crisis Lois, not more. Do the game developers even think about this stuff for two seconds before they put it in the game?

Mine did the same…I think it was because I earned them trying to get sexy Stewie, but wasn’t able to get all items needed…so game saved those musical notes! Pretty sweet to already have one item completed!

Try force closing the app, restart your device, and try the task again. Or… send you character on a short simple task then that one again to see what happens.

Wahoo D10 has opened!
Firstly you need to clear 2 blocks of land before you can then repair the brewery.
Both land sections were 20H tasks and the brewery is 4hrs.
Once you have repaired the brewery the second part of Home Brew:
– Craft the Creepy River Boat
– Have Brian file a complaint
CRAFTING VIA THE BREWERY:
When the brewery has been repaired there currently 8 unlocked items available to craft.
Annoyingly there is a bug meaning you can’t scroll down the task list to see who can be tasked to get an item. I have flagged this to TinyCo.
All of my available characters are now tasked to drop for either Stewie’s Chumba Wumba skin or for anything for the brewery!

Awoke to this news, put my guys on clearing the district. Seems like it’s going to be a couple days before we clear it all and get to the brewery itself. Plenty of time to get your vital characters off long tasks and ready to go.
If we’re going to be crafting stuff and making costumes and unlocking characters I suggest you leave about as many characters open as possible, this one’s probably going to take us up to and into the Valentine’s Day event like District 9 did with Halloween. At least there’s no rush on districts, just sit back and enjoy the game.
