Remember that one time when you kept saying, “It would be great if TinyCo brought back…“? Well guess what TinyCo is doing? Once again, listening to YOUR requests. There will be some fun Characters coming back, and they all won’t be at once… so keep your eyes on your game over the next week as you will see lots of really cool Characters return and be available until Tuesday, February 3rd.
**In order to be able to see Characters/Costumes offered in your game, you will need to at least have unlocked District 3 as Al’s needs to be in your game to be able to get some of the Characters/Costumes put into play.*** (FYI, not all players will see the same Characters/Costumes offered as it will vary on what YOU have already and WHO you have unlocked in your game. If the Character is NOT unlocked/purchased, you won’t see the Costume in your list.)

Ron Perlman w/Chair: Will be placed in your Inventory. In order to put him into your game, you will need to place the Chair out of Inventory. He will show up with the bouncing Unlock above him. Tap it to bring him into the game. Chair will earn $10 & 5XP every 2hrs.

Rollo Cop Joe: YES! He is in this one too, no matter which one you get him from, he will disappear from other once you have him. So, you have an option of either box.
Again, what YOU have a chance at getting will vary on who YOU already own and WHO you have unlocked in your game. You will need the Character to put a Costume on them. 😉

Mr. Weed w/Ghostly Coffin: In order to be able to get him, you will need to first purchase the Ghostly Coffin from the Menu for $1,000. Once placed, you will need to tap on theGhostly Coffin to see the Material Collections list. You will have until the Event ends on the 3rd of February to gain all his Materials and unlock him into your game.

Ok, just checking to see if anyone else had done this before. What happened was when I tried to buy clams, the squirrel would pop up and never go away. I restarted and tried again, but apparently fat fingered it and got coins. And coins is like the last thing I need in this game now. I have over 600k sitting there. lol I figure I’ll crack 1 mil soon since nothing much to spend them on anymore.
Well anyways, every game I’ve ever played so far has been able to fix things like that. One that I play will even allow you to buy stuff no longer available, you just have to turn in a ticket and request it, then they will deduct the necessary “clams and put it in your inventory.
Hmm in fact can someone suggest that as a feature for later?
I’d love to buy Bryan Cranston at a later time when there’s nothing else going on in the game.

I got the squirrel twice before, but then I realized it was because I had turned off my data & sync settings. I was playing on an Android smartphone at the time. Once I turned data/sync back on, the squirrel was gone.

I have been trying to get the items for king butt and going in every 4 – 6 hours to get my characters to keep going to get stuff. In all that time I have only manage to get 1 sonic screw driver and 1 ghost. I can’t understand how this is even possible to get king butt when he leaves on Tuesday and the drop rate for the items seems to be every 5 days. This is very frustrating and to be honest it doesn’t motivate me to want to continue playing. How can the drop rate be different for others because I have read on the blog where people have gotten all those items already. Who puts an epic item for a one week event? When we have regular skins to unlock and the item is epic it is not a problem because there is no time limit; however, a one week event and the drop rate is every 5 days? That to me doesn’t make sense.

Kind of unfair that you need 2 people to get 14 items of one thing for Mr. Weed. This is going to make things a bit hard to accomplish. 😦

I was happy to hear that drop rates were increased for ghosts, since I barely have any, even though I’ve been working on it since the rerelease of King Butt began. Unfortunately, when I tapped on both Bonnie and Jerome, they both gave me flutes towards Pawtucket Pat instead. I guess they didn’t lower the drop rate for those. I really do wish they would allow other characters to get ghosts (like the ghostbusters) so I can finish King Butt. I mean, several people can get ankhs and several people can get screwdrivers, but only two can get ghosts, and they are cross tasked. And I know Cranston can as well, but we all can’t afford him. It is frustrating.

Did I screw myself by clicking the checkmark after fixing Bob’s Funland, therefore adding new drops for the characters I’m using for the Best of 2014 event. Now, I might get drops to unlock Stewie with the characters I’m using rather than for 2014 event and I can’t store Funland! Any suggestions?

I’m still bummed that Mr. Weed is not voiced. There were plenty of current sound bytes to use from the show, but I’m sure Carlos Alazraqui would have been able to provide some more custom dialog for the game. Only Weed and Human Rupert are not voiced and the OCD in me cringes every time I tap on one of them.

I already had every character except Rollocop because he was originally android only, not willing to pay 125 clams for him so this event has been a dud thus far for me, I want new characters and new skins!

I am glad they added the stripper pole for Bonnie. I was very curious about that coming back. I also see they added the training center for the “superheroes”. I had sent an in game message complaining about having those tasks and not having a way to access them lo and behold four hours later the training center showed up just before Box 3 showed up. I started building it right away but 20 hours is a bit long to build something this late in the event to make much of a difference. Do we know how many boxes they plan to have? I just need Kool-aid Man, sexy Stewie and Gold Suit Peter and will have all characters and alts in the game so far. Well, don’t yet have George Takei but am very close so I consider him already unlocked.

I have seen people that already have 5 screwdriver’s for king butt while I have been active and only got 2.
I’m going to be angry if I won’t unlock king butt because I have been logging in every 4-6 hours for the screwdrivers but still they won’t drop.
I know they are epic but tinyco increased the drop rate for them and how are other people able to get 5 in less than 3 days?
These screwdrivers really are screw-drivers.
I know still have till Feb 3rd but 3 epics in just 2,5 days? Impossible!

Anyone else having trouble getting captains chairs and teddy bears? I only have 2 characters working for chairs and 2 for bears ( 4 & 6 hour tasks) but its been over 24 hours now and only 3 chairs and 0 bears, Yet i have 5 epic sonic screw drivers.
Tried force closing, clearing cache, restarting phone, sending thr characters on a different 1 hour task …. anything else i can try?
It seems i always have issues with very rare items. I’ve been trying to get the 8 plutoniums to unlock stewie for weeks now. Seem to only get 1 every 4-5 days.

Like some others here, I just unlocked King Butt. I had been pretty sore about not getting him the first time around because it was pretty impossible to get for a “free” character. I have since spent clams on other characters, which may have contributed to the ease of unlocking him this time around. I do hope that people who haven’t spent clams find this time around to be doable.

I like that TinyCo brought back everyone. I missed out on getting Pee pants Peter and 80s Cleveland. Also happy that Filion and Cranston from CC I miss them too. And as for King Butt he is a pain in the butt to get trying my best to get him. 😛 thank you girls for the run down.

Dont give up. They increased drop rates. Try. See what happens. It seems any event, multiple times, players think it impossible then are shocked at how POSSIBLE it really was. LOTS of people starting to unlock King Butt last night and today with the other two coming along nicely. Peter and Quagmire for me are best drops on the sonics.

I have been trying to get King Butt since this mini-event started and I will get the crosses but only have 1 epic to show and 2 of the extra rare ghosts. I have all the costumes that do the quests accept for Bryan Cranston. I refuse to spend clams to get him, but it seems that’s the only way I will have a shot at getting him. Probably going to miss out on him….again

Hi I been reading the site and I’ve seen people say they would post messages to tinyco in game and tinyco responded. I posted tinyco a message but never got a response. My question here is do they usually answer in game or email or not often? Thanks for all the help. And I really hope getting anks becomes easier. I have 8 and been questing nonstop…I also have 6 screwdrivers all ghosts and all teddy bears….why 8 anks?

It depends on the question. If it is something that the in game FAQ has or that was … say an issue impacting ALL players… their responses are usually in mass via their Facebook, Twitter, and also we pass on the word here via posts and updates to the posts. Easier to answer tens of thousands that way then one message at a time.
It also depends on if the issue will take time to research in order for them to get back.
As far as Ankhs (all posted to everyone like stated above)… here is what we put out and they said on them…
“Morning guys. We’ve made it easier to collect items for King Butt (as well as George Takei)! Since yesterday morning, we’ve increased the drop rates for the following items: Ankhs, Sonic Screwdrivers, and Ghosts. We hope this helps and thank you for always sharing your thoughts and feedback with us! It helps us continue to create the best game possible”
Try to force close your game and maybe even restart your device. See if it helps to increase those percents. Let us know please too your results. Many have been unlocking King Butt all day today. Others gaining fast too. 😉

This is interesting. Nice to get some stuff I missed.
However something is bugging me.
Tinyco isn’t just ‘being nice’. This best of event is aimed at effecting their bottom line, I just can’t figure out their goal.
Maybe they are trying to appeal to recent players and get them up to speed to increase their emotional investment in order to get them to increase their monetary investment.
I guess what I fear is that its a cash grab as prelude to the eventual shutting down of the game. Alienating paying players by handing out their paid for rewards for coins seems to indicate they aren’t as worried about future revenue as they are about today’s.

Personally, as a player who has spent money on the game, I didn’t have to pay for a single one of these characters or skins. Got them all through dedicated game play over many months so I don’t feel cheated at all by these events. Good luck to everyone playing.

I am always cautious when any company recycles old as new. There is definitely an agenda. I have only ‘shelled out’ for one item this go ’round because this is definitely a bid to get the clams, either coming in or going out. Many of us vowed to withhold purchase because of the new exchange rate being much higher. Now I see people disavowing All over the place *chuckle* Canny and cunning marketing, don’t you think?
Their agenda is their bottom line. At the same time, they are also smart enough to figure out that if they aren’t at our disposal, our disposable income won’t be at theirs.
It’s Good marketing in a repressed economy that other companies should pay attention to.

I saw this too. Not only that, Bonnie’s bake sale task is now a 10 hour task. I understand that during Christmas it was upped to assist in getting items, but it should have been dropped back down to the 10 minute task after the event for people in the lower levels. It shouldn’t take 10 hours to get a bag of oregano for Lois to unlock.

Same here. I have him on hjs constant “Turn water into Clams” task ever since I got him during the Christmas event after finishing his questline. I’ve gotten 1 clam drop so far of 1 clam total. I’m just glad I got him for free instead of having to pay to get him as the rate of return on those clams would have been poor. On the other hand, free clams, even 1 every month, still isn’t anything to complain about.

Bunny, please ask TinyCo, come on have a heart, spread the tasks around the 50+ characters we all have rather than their different skins! Peter maybe able to collect items for 2 or more characters using 2 or more skins/costumes, but he can only do one task/quest at a time!!!!
I’m sure the game would be much more enjoyable, plus players would still spend to achieve, but more would join to play to pay etc etc

If they did that, the amount of stuff needed to unlock the chars and skins would be increased.
Asking for more tasks to earn items is asking for unlocking to be easier, and the easier it is the less clams they can make on the event.

Apologies if I missed your point, but mine was – spread tasks around the characters not their skins, we all have 50+ characters of which 90% are basically redundant, most of mine are stored in the inventory but if TinyCo released a “Dole Office Building” then there’d be one heck of a queue 🙂

Sorry if it’s a dead horse but, has it been confirmed if you complete a collection you get the clams? I just completed a collection with Ron Perlman but it I did not get the 50 clams it showed as a prize for collecting them all. I just wanted to know before I unlock George Takei if I’m supposed to get the clams or not as I was planning to use them towards the last two skins in part 3 box or if I should buy more clams. I just started during Halloween and missed pink Brian but I got him in the box and instant payout and listed in facebook page as completed. I never had any of the previous characters as I missed those completely and their listed in the facebook page as new characters.

It depends. Some collections they changed… so if an items wasnt there before and you were already paid… and now it added another, you may have already been awarded clams for it. Make sense?

Well let me ask you this… do you remember already getting Clams for them before? Some of the Character groups have changed, so if a payout was already given for a specific group and it was later changed… that would impact it so you wouldnt get a second payout.

In my opinion these events are a wicked way for TinyCo to cream more money out of those who play the game regularly.
To get the next box you have to use characters from the box before, plus they must do tasks that give, or not give, multiple items, the number of which can’t be used for each new character, ie use it for one lose it for another
The drop rate, number of & length of tasks proves it impossible to gain those you’ve missed, unless you spend mucho poundo’s for clammo’s 😦

The sonic screwdrivers are a pain in the ****. Me & my husband both play this game. I have more characters he does, so he only can do Peter & Quagmire and the Dr. Hartmen tasks for the screwdrivers and he’s gotten THREE to drop. I have FOUR characters doing task and have had a whopping zero drop. No way in hell I’m getting 8 by Tuesday at this rate.

For me the same problem, and now you need to have them for king butt and mr weed, it was a fun option to win those characters, but it is impossible to do, 4 chacacters and i set a timer for the actions and still have only 1 screwdriver

Are you sending Peter and Quagmire on their joint task? A number of us had great results with that one, I got 3 in a row from it. They do tend to drop in bunches, I went from 0-4 in the one day. Hope you have better luck soon.

I just got King Butt. When I first started him I was thinking a late Monday/early Tuesday unlock if I was lucky (especially with Bonnie and Jerome working at cross purposes with getting flutes needed for Pat). This return event(s) is kind of a let down though only because I have scored most of the returning characters during the normal course of play. Also not begrudging those who missed out on the returning characters, hoping they score the ones they want.

The reason I want the comic con characters for free is that I was at a low level and when I nearly unlocked Felicia day I was so exited but on the last day I needed two things for her and my game wouldn’t load

Well the repeated Rollo cop in Vol. 3 which tells me that there won’t be a vol. 4 at least not now and not before Tues.

Pretty cool update I’m very satisfied with getting the clamterprise so I’m gud with what I have right now which is pretty much everything all I hope to c return now is the single spotlights best decoration for my town that I’m dying to stock up on 🙂 I’ll b waiting patiently as of now getting as much stuff as I can for our current event should have pawtucket soon

Ok.. again, Chris was sent 5 hours ago to practice gorging… and now that task is out of the item chances… are they ever going to be consistent with the tasks?? it is such a waste of time!! especially for those “Epic” items. Yesterday the did the same with Lois and the Alien… what’s going on??

I know. It was due to they REQUIRED buildings to complete… so they changed it to make it fair for all players. Sorry.

Sorry, still not fair to all players as long as some of us can’t collect teddy bears. Also the event will not be long enoighbif you are working on Butts/Takei/Weed. Looks like I will only get King Butts.
