I can see all your frustration in the comments on the event. I get it. Really. I am wanting to get an overall idea of where you all are as of right now. 
So let’s try something out. Please post ONLY answers the following, nothing more. (Anything else will be moderated.)

Got all the mustaches. Only need 4 more hats but only have 28 out of 55 candy. Have only been able to get 38 out of 50 piñatas for the task. Latchers just don’t seem to spawn very often. Have 6 blindfolds and I play every couple hours

I have 31 candies. I have enough hats and mustaches. I have 15 blindfold. I usuallycheck every two hours except for overnight. I also have 46 pinata completed for the quest line. I don’t think I will get Spanish Peter without an extension.

I play every few hours. Rarely do I have more than two pinatas at a time. I check just as much for plutonium as I do for the bandanas, etc.

24 candies, 13 hats, 11 mustaches and 7 blindfolds. The last three days, I’ve played at most twice a day due to my son being born on friday. Today and tomorrow, I’ll probably be able to play a bit more. Might still not be enough to get all the candies. Though, I’m not complaining. Usually, I play religiously during events, but this time I had a very good reason for “slacking off”. 😉
