Just popping in to remind you that around 3PM PDT (6pm EDT, 2200 GMT) the Telenovela Event will be leaving our games. What does this mean? Well, you may want to snag any last minute items that are offered before they are gone.
So what will stay and what will go? Well all the information is as of THIS post. We will update if anymore changes come in from TinyCo.
Spanish Soap Opera Peter
This event brought Spanish Soap Opera Peter to Quahog…finally! In order to keep in him Quahog you’ll have to unlock him before time is up! Here’s a reminder of what you’ll need:
35 Candy (Common)- Earned By: Smashing Piñatas
20 Cowboy Hats (Common)- Earned By: Make Bonnie Go to Ladies Night OR Make Lois Freshen Up OR Make Conseula Clean Up the Town
16 Mustaches (Rare)- Earned By: Make Chris Eat a Large Ham OR Make Joe Visit the Gun Range OR Make Jerome Be a Superior Athlete OR Make Quagmire Enjoy Carrots OR Get from Luchador General Store
BUILDINGS
This event brought a handful of new cool buildings into the game, so make sure you pick them up before the event goes. 😉
Freemium
Hacienda Griffin- $3,000. 12hr Build. Earns $60, 15xp/12hrs
Channel 26- $4,000. 6hr build. Earns $60, 15xp/12hrs
Señor Limpiador- $8,000. 2hr Build. Earns $60, 15xp/12hrs
Premium
Luchador General Store- 50 Clams. Earns $60, 14xp/12hrs. Always drops mustaches.
DECORATIONS
A few silly decorations were brought in with this event, so if you want to add them to your game make sure you get it before the Event goes.

Taqueria la Almeja– $7,000. Note: This is supposed to be in the shop. Currently it’s missing. TinyCo is working to restore it back.

As of 3pm PDT (6pm EDT) ALL Telenovela content will be pulled from the game….this includes ALL questlines.

All I needed for Spanish Peter was 2 mustaches and I couldn’t get them. The last day none dropped and then poof I ran out of time 😦 and of course I didn’t buy clams to finish 😦 hope they give us another chance in the future to get it again

I think TinyCo botched this one. I checked in Thursday afternoon while on vacation, and was only 2 mustaches away from unlocking. So I checked in 4 hours later to unlock, and everything is gone. They should have included a countdown clock SOMEWHERE so I would have known…

Seriously was rushed big time! For those of us normal people with lives and jobs outside of the Internet it made it super hard to get everything..I want to know why didnthe they start that event after the v-day one ended? There was all that time normal people could’ve used to play and try to get him. The few days event was total be, if you ask me.

It wasn’t an Event. Just a weekend thing. All Weekend items are limited time. Usually only Friday to Tuesday, so this one did go a few days longer.

Spanish Peter was the only costume I’ve missed since I started playing quest for stuff. Didn’t give enough time to get the items needed to unlock the costume and I play very frequently. Only event or mini event I’ve been frustrated with so I figured I would share because I see a lot of others with the same issue

Huge disappointment. I had no idea the event ended yesterday. Was only 2 hats from completing Peter. Obviously I would’ve spent the 10 clams to complete., especially since it rewarded 25 clams. Yes, I realize it was in their FAQ and yes I see it was on this site…but some of us are pretty busy. Checking FAQs and fan sites (you guys do a great job BTW) shouldn’t be required of paying customers. TSTO doesn’t have this problem. Nor do other freemium games I’ve played. PUT IN A TIMER!!!!!

Bring Soap Opera Peter Back, weekend event and my work schedule made it impossible to focus on the game.

Got peter with minutes to spare and got 25 vkams for my efforts then decided to use them to buy three blindfolds to get three three renaming pinatas I needed to hit 50.
BUT although I had enough blindfolds there are only 2 piñata’s in town. Then the event finished.
So I chucked 25 clams away for nothing 😦
This event felt totally rushed. Not good

That simply isn’t good enough. I must’ve clicked too rapidly because I never saw the pop up. I spend a decent amount of money on this game and play it multiple times daily. They dropped the ball.

I lost Spanish Peter last night. I unlocked him in time and had him on his first quest and then he was just gone. 😦 Any help would be appreciated.

I was pissed that this was the first time we got such a tight deadline for one of Peter’s costumes. Especially since it is in the Peter’s Costume Box #1 set. I was really looking forward to completing that collection and getting a 25 clam boost before the Star Trek event began, but it seemed like none of my pinatas generated candy. I was still ten candies away. Most of the special event Peters (Captain Hammered, Ghostbusters Peter) aren’t part of a collection so I wasn’t too concerned about getting them, but missing the last one in a set has me really mad.

Just hope its nothing like the Valentines one. This one was tough, but having to rack up a crap ton of love hearts to get the last two things was a royal pain. And hopefully anyone costing clams doesn’t have a high price tag. 450 clams for Brian Cranston was a bit much. He was the only Comic-Con character I couldn’t get.

I unlocked telenovela Peter, but I didn’t finish the “smash 50 pinatas” task before the event ended, so he disappeared. I’m a little disappointed at losing him after actually having him, but it was a cute little event overall.

No if you unlocked him the questline has nothing to do with it. Are you sure it disappeared? You created the costume in Al’s correct?

Missed out on Spanish Peter by 10 candies, and my pinanta respawn rate was also horrible. Really hate these short deadlines when they make us collect hard to spawn items. So thats two events in a row that I missed out on because the rares barely appear :(…. IF they pull this crap on Star Trek event, I’m done with this game.

I enjoyed the event! Got spanish peter & freemium bldgs. I didnt spend any clams Bc 1.short event 2. Nothing i felt i HAD to have. I do wish bc of the candy craziness they had extented the event a bit. I got to part 3 which was a 6hr event and didnt have 6hrs left in event :-(. But im not too bummed bc im too psyched for ST!!! Btw LOVE ur site!! Its my go to for every event fot FG & TSTO!! Actually i only started playing TSTO after getting hooked on ur FG site and seeing u had a Simpsons one also!! Keep up the great work! And thank u!!

awesome, i didnt have my phone for 1 day and i couldnt get spanish soap opera peter. 1 common hat left, while at least 15 actions from bonnie and lois ended with nothing

Add me to the group of folks that forgot the event ended today. Seems like they all end on Thursdays usually. I was only one or two candy away from soap peter (only skin I haven’t earned now). I was looking forward to the 25 clams and seeing the actions. I got lots of in game pop ups for the Star Trek event but never noticed the event ending reminder.

I got the free buildings. Peter’s home is by the sea and right by it is consulea’s. The only premium thing that was tempting was the store. I wanted to save clams for Star Trek or whatever else popped up in the downtown district I unlocked today. I do like his thinking evil action.

I wish we were told in game when the end date and time was for the Telenovela event was. I was only 2 items away from Peter ‘ s skin and would have had them if I knew the time. This site has a lot of good information but not everyone comes here all the time. We have been told about every other event’s closing time. Why not this one?

And this was only a few days sale. Not a full on Event. Only when it is like a month long do they bring in the timers.

Let me just say this… OUR information comes directly from TinyCo. Wikia… well… ANYONE can put info there. Not sure where they got that time from, but I can say it is NOT anywhere in my information direct from the source. 😉

i don’t even know if you guys will let this post but i think it needs to be said… I’m all for the telenovela side quest stuff its cute and all but didnt we just have an event with consuela?….peter is a raging drunk…nothing for st pattys…peters real dad anyone?….missed opportunity…imo

They know it was… just more going on to focus on for the month. St. Patrick’s is just one day… so I think they would rather have that whole family saga play out in something longer than a few days. 😉

i hear ya bunny, but we got other silly people in small events, like stupid brian and stewie, his real dad wasn’t that big of an event in the show, guess the irish in me is a little bummed, but either way looking forward to future events. you guys do great work, ill leave an ode to nimoy…live long and prosper….not a star trek geek, but starting in a day or so we all get to be! beam me up!

I bought him with a few hours left. Ending up netting around 5 clams with the clams they awarded for completing the set. Never did finish the quests….but i got Spanish Peter so i am bueno! Sad and supprised like many that it wasnt a St Paddy’s day event…..maybe for Cinco de Mayo lol!

Thing is… EVERY event I see this. Just like last one that had 3 different pop ups. Timers. All over twitter. Facebook. FAQ. All over here. There’s only so much you can do. And it’s only a few that say it. Not everyone. Just those that aren’t looking or checking. It’s always in the game. Sorry

I understand what you’re saying. The information was definitely out there if you wanted it. I just think players of the game would’ve been better served by making it more clear within the game (e.g., at startup, at screen bottom, etc.) that the timer was running out. I don’t think anyone blames you or anyone involved with this site.

Wow, was that it? Possibly the most disappointing event yet. Nowhere near getting Spanish soap peter. Aside from the constant crashing, this game is quickly becoming unplayable.
