I’m using this bit of down time to clear my task bar, it’s been cluttered for so long, now it’s neat and tidy waiting for a refill, lol.

Same! And poor Mr. Weed has been waiting for Peter to fetch a(bout 25) magician(s) so he can leave the Lazarus Portal & rejoin Quahog, and now he’s just 4 bats/sticks/whatever they are away from rejoining the living (& possibly close the portal? He’s the last character I need to unlock; I’ll be kinda sad to never be able to send zombies out again…).
This downtime has been great! Cleared a BUNCH of tasks out – most required Peter, though there was a Lois quest in there, & now the only things there are the end of Daggermouth’s quest (had to wait for him to level up to continue, which he did this morning) & todays Daily Quest. It’s rather strange to see it so bare, actually! 😁
Maybe I’ll even get a chance to redesign a bit!

They never announced WHEN it was going live. I noted in the Update post it is delayed for now. Just keep an eye on the site and a new “EVENT IS LIVE” post will go up when it releases. 🙂

I updated my game and now the icon looks different but the only thing different in game: I have no roads or sand, just tons of black blocking ??? No new content thou, is everyone else still waiting too?

Fianlly got the update in Android. It took forever to download, then installed, and guess what…no change other than the game icon. No splash screen change and still get the same error screen.

Hey, my iOS version never updated, the opening screen has Halloween image but it loads regular game. There’s no tasks available. It seems to be glitch in out maybe? If I delete the game and re download will i have to start over from scratch? I can’t seem to find a way to contact tinyco..

I have the pope and super devil available in the box, I could get them as I have the clams but I prefer to impatiently tap my fingers for the new event. At least I have the Luke cage series to help while away the wait lol

Anyone else getting Error Message at Load Screen: “Config empty for ID chickendeco in buildings”. As of 8.24am UK time 30.9 (on IOS 10, updated to 1.29 in AppStore, can’t Load game just getting error!! – Ive tried all basics i.e. Shutting down Phone, deleting App and reinstalling etc. No Luck. 🤔

You’re no longer alone, starting see quite few reports of same error. Use the option to send error to TinyCo if it’s letting you and I will get Bunny to bring it to their attention too.

I got Patty first, then Esther, then Super Devil. I was hoping for Maniac Pope but I’m not disappointed. I probably wouldn’t have spent so many clams but I couldn’t wait anymore for the event to begin 😁

I’m glad they are wating to release the new event. Hopefully, that means all platforms will pick it up at the same time instead of like the last event where Kindle players were left out in the cold for four long days. Could have really used those days to finish part four of the pirate event.

The Change to iOS app has nothing to do with the Mystery Box. I am on Android, but I own all the Characters so I don’t see it. But my other Google tablet that does not have them… I see it. 🙂

Got the 4 of them I missed (slasher cat, maniac Pope, super davil and Patty) but got only one of their quests, why? Each character or costume always comes with a short quest, shouldn’t I have 4 new quests now?

Depends… at times it takes a “trigger” to get them. Also, some have their tasks linked to the Event and so don’t go beyond Event. Right now, with them still working on the Upcoming Event, wait and see if they pop up after it goes live. 🙂

Oh, that is why I do not see the mystery box in my game – I already have all of those. I heard that it was a “Halloween Mystery Box” but did not realise that it was only stuff from last year. I thought there may have been things from Halloween the year before.. 👍

Ha – that’s the exact same three I don’t have. Am tempted as I have spare clams and they are complete characters (not skins), but unless they will be needed for the upcoming event (in which case they would have to be available then), there is no rush to decide today.

Android is not left out at all, they are NOT releasing it yet due to still working on it. So we won’t see an app market update until it is ready. 🙂
I am on Android and see the Mystery Box on my Google Tablets just fine. It all depends on the Characters you already own. Game I have them all in, no Mystery Box… because I have them. 🙂
