Hey there all you Minions!
Remember that one time when you kept saying, “It would be great if TinyCo brought back…“? Well guess what TinyCo is doing? Once again, listening to YOUR requests. There will be some fun Characters coming back, and they all won’t be at once… so keep your eyes on your game over the next week as you will see lots of really cool Characters return and be available until Tuesday, February 3rd.
**In order to be able to see Characters/Costumes offered in your game, you will need to at least have unlocked District 3 as Al’s needs to be in your game to be able to get some of the Characters/Costumes put into play.*** (FYI, not all players will see the same Characters/Costumes offered as it will vary on what YOU have already and WHO you have unlocked in your game. If the Character is NOT unlocked/purchased, you won’t see the Costume in your list.)
Also… King Butt IS timed.

So for the basics…
WHY CAN’T I SEE ALL THE COSTUMES OFFERED?
As stated above, it will vary on WHO you have in YOUR game. So if you have a Character already, they will not show up to get again.
If you have NOT unlocked a Character, you will not see their Costume. For instance if you have not purchased Consuela, you will not see her Dia de los Muertos Consuela Costume. If you do not have Stewie unlocked in District 8, you will not see his Iron Baby Costume.
WHY IS GEORGE AND MR. WEED LOCKED?
New Characters will arrive for purchase/unlock during the Promo, so keep an eye out in your game for when George and Mr. Weed will be available. (We will also post to this site.)
Now for all the Characters/Costumes in the Mystery Box Volume 1…
Each try in the Mystery Box will cost 125 Clams and once that Character/Costume is won, it will be removed from the list and narrow your options down. Some items will go to your Inventory once won, so make sure you go place them. Others will be put into Al’s to “create” so make sure you check there too to complete them and place them onto the Characters. (Updated with the info we were able to verify in game.)
UPDATE: If you had started collection on one of these Characters/Costumes in Al’s but never completed it… you WILL see the breakdown back in Al’s… I am currently looking into this, but it looks like you still need to win them in the Mystery Box. Will post more once clarified.
UPDATE: Confirmed… ALL Characters from the Mystery Box will require you to purchase the Mystery Box in order to get them.

Again, you will only have 7 days to collect all these items once the Sandy Pyramid is built. If you do not complete collection, you will NOT get King Butt. I am still waiting on TinyCo for verifcation due to NO timer in the game, Just the date, if this means 7 days from placement or 7 days regardless and it ends on February 3rd. I’m leaning towards 3rd. (See Below)
UPDATE: As you can see in the pic below… King Butt WILL say NOT READY as he is NOT READY to Create until you collected all his items. Once you are done getting them all, it will change so you can Create him. Also, you can see the end date and time on the pop up too. All this can be seen by tapping on the newly built Sandy Pyramid. The End Date is set for the End of the Event. So you will need to have acquired King Butt BEFORE February 3rd @3PM PST.
Bryan Cranston w/His Chair. From the Quahog ComicCon Event. 450 Clams (Will ALWAYS drop one of items needed for King Butt). Once you purchase and place his chair, you will see him pop up in front of it with the Unlock symbol. Just tap on it to make him active in your game. (Yes, his questline starts up too.)
New Year’s Eve Brian: 150 Clams. Brian in his suit is back again just in case you missed your chance on this Costume. This was a temp glitch.

I love this! I got Iron baby stewie and Dia de Los Meurtos Consuela that I missed and then my box disappeared since I already had the others, so I’m excited for the next box 😀 I have this thing where I feel like I have to have all the characters 😬 so I was bummed when I missed George, I think he’s the only other character I need!

Hi Girls I play on ipad and an android phone and since Apples new price restructure have noticed that the price difference for clams is significant £59.53 for a tank of clams on gplay compared to £79.99 on ipad worth buying a cheap Android phone if this continues.

I love the fact that there bringing back old things less happy about ghosts for king butt and how you get them. It uses the same character tasks as the flutes which means they are even less likely to drop I know I could get Bryan (who buy the way is the only character from comic con event i didn’t get) but I can’t afford him. I know that’s my problem but I still wish they had used other tasks or character for ghosts I’d contact tinyco but they don’t normally get back to me till after an event is over. Love u guys keep up the good work.

I’m really happy about them giving us a second chance, however.. Epic items are impossible to get and too get them in 7 days is crazy took me 3 weeks to get the eyes for anime Peter!

I agree. One week to get even just one epic item is asking too much. What they’re really saying is, “Spend a ridiculous amount of clams on Bryan Cranston and grind your heart out and you can have King Butt.” That’s what I don’t like about this “chance” to get King Butt…there is NO chance to get him without spending 450 clams

Okay so I only needed two characters from the “Best of 2014” mystery box. The first time I bought it I got Iron Baby Stewie. Then I went to buy the box again so I could get the only other character that I needed from that box (Diane Simmons), and the mystery box is nowhere to be found. I contacted TinyCo. But is this maybe some sort of glitch?

Um sth weird happened..when I went in my inventory I saw I had Diane Simmons and Francis Griffin.the thing is I didn’t unlock them during the Halloween event.anyways I placed their graves in my town and they both had only the gold unlock bubble above them.so I tapped it and now they’re mine.I just put them both on 4-hour tasks.the thing is though no clams or coins were used nor having to collect items for their unlocking.is that how these two work?or is it just a happy glitch?cause I sure am excited to have them now and free!

Check your inventory for Diane. MANY players are reporting getting her for free in their inventory. As far as Brian, he’s NOT in the box. He’s a side item that can be purchased outside of the box.

I have a little question, and would be grateful for your help.
I placed the pyramid but there is no check mark, no timer, and King Butt isn’t even there in his unlocked form. Is this normal? Do I need to unlock more characters from the mystery box first?

It has to be the newly purchased one. Tap on the Pyramid. You’ll see the item collection and also see this very post on King Butt for more info. 😉

Same thing happened to me, no timer or checkmark, no king butt near the pyramid.
I never had a pyramid before the event so this is “newly purchased”
But clicking the pyramid brings up the checklist for all the required itens. Hopefully game doesnt glitch when I get them all…

As stated in the post, you will NOT see a timer nor King Butt outside. He is inside locked until you release him and the time stamp is also inside when you tap. Right on the pop up. 😉

I bought Brian Cranston for 450 clams, but didn’t get the 100 clams reward for completing the collection since I already had Nathan Fillion, and George Takei. Is this a glitch? I’ve contacted TInyCo on this already but…..

You won’t “see” a Clam drop out. It sometimes takes a moment to sync the purchase. At times you may have to force close then reenter the game to see your actual count change. If the check mark is there in Facespace, it means it recognized the purchase and completion and processed them.
If troubleshooting doesn’t help, please let them know.

I bought the pyramid to get King butt and it’s built. However, when I tap on it the king butt icon says “not ready”

Of course it says Not Ready. You didn’t think you could get him right away, did you? You need to earn items to get him. (The ones all listed in this very post.) Once you do, THEN he will be Ready to unlock and you can get him in your game. 😉

But the icons to collect items are also faded out. Usually you can tap them to see which characters’ actions unlock each item.

You still can. Tap right in the middle. I just did it in 3 different games. (If not, try to tap as close to the blue italic i as you can). Then you will be able to scroll up and down to see that info. Again, it is also here in this post. (Pulled it right from the game.)
It will show NOT READY until he is Ready to unlock. At that time it will switch out. 😉

I’ve finally saved up enough clams for Paul Stanley of KISS. I’ll wait til he comes back before spending that clam stash. Now saving up for the next event. I did pick up a few extra Stewie Sphinx and Active Volcanos.
Unfortunately the Clamterprise is not showing up. I did get Patrick Stewart during the event. Even after storing Patrick Stewart and exiting the game, the Clamterprise is not showing up.

It is not the same as what is offered now. Clampterprise and him were separate in the Event. So each was earned separate. This is a new group package, so you would have to NOT have Patrick or the Clampterprise to get the grouping. There is still more coming, just wait and see. The Clampterprise may still be offered separate.

What Data Error? If you are having issues with your game, try some troubleshooting. No one else has reported errors but you with the event.
Data Error is just that, usually something with the Data on your device. Whether a bad connection or a bad/corrupted file. There is a lot of things you can try to solve it, including contacting them.

I like this event as it’s using the characters and costumes you don’t use because they were only needed for an event and also king butt was one of the characters I missed because I started nearer to the end of the event but are people that have Patrick Stewart already going to get the clamterprise because I wanted to keep the clamterprise at the comic con event.

It kinda sucks that two of the tasks for the Ghosts you need to unlock King Butt are also tasks for the Chumbawamba Flutes you need to unlock Pawtucket Pat (Bonnie twerk it and Jerome grow his fro). Since you have a chance at both items, it will be much harder since they are also extra rare items.

You could put District 10 on hold. Due to its here to stay and King is limited. I wonder if you store the Mansion and Brewery if that would help to eliminate those items. Up to you either way. 😉

It will not let you store the mansion until Pat is unlocked, so there is no choice. Leaves it a bit limited for collecting the ghost unless you have Bryan Cranston. Lets hope the drop rate for ghosts and flutes is generous as still need 9 flutes, but now hoping for ghosts instead.

Wow Bryan Cranson is STILL that insanely expensive huh? Crazy…I don’t get it. Maybe I would if I watched Breaking Bad more…Too bad you probably can’t get King Butt without him. He was the first character I couldn’t get in time cuz I started playing FGQFS right at the start of that event and I didn’t have any characters to do anything yet. I like the character box idea a lot but I have all these already 🙂 I’ll have to wait for the next one.

When ever I buy a mystery box, I never get what I want without doing it a few times.
Well I have been jealous of one of my friends because he had Patrick Stewart. I was happy to see he was included in the mystery box and I had half of the items already, so I had a one in four shot at him. I had enough clams for one box, don’t know if I will buy more for more chances, but I don’t have to, PATRICK STEWART WAS IN THE FIRST BOX. Can you tell I am excited. WOOOT WOOT!

I already have Bryan cranstons chair but it doesn’t have the option to drop items for king butt. I also had the option to a second pyramid. I don’t see king butt or a timer for him.

The chair does not drop the items. If you take a peek at the list of items under King Butt, you will see it is Cranston himself who has a task to drop them. 🙂

I know this might be difficult, but is there like a comprehensive list of ALL the characters or skins? It doesn’t even have to be on this site (no offense) if you want to link me to someone else who might have done it already.
I know you said this mystery box is only volume 1, and there could be other characters to create over the course of the week, so I don’t want to tie up all my characters on something I don’t reasonably have a chance at creating (started at the end of Halloween, and even then I didn’t know what I was doing)
That way, I can also check off what I already have and cross my fingers that the ones I don’t and want will come

We do have a Character list, but it is being completed as we JUST added more people…this last week. You can always look on our Character page to get a good idea of them all.

It is… in parts. Like I said, I pulled it out due to SOOOOoooo many just added and I wanted to clean it up. And more Characters coming (see our spoiler post from TinyCo). So we are reworking a LOT of our site in prep. I will put up a list of sorts tomorrow. It’s not finalized… but may help.
I just giggled how you asked. Asking us to seek out info on another site we do not know or even use, then to return with said info and link you to what I found…it is like me asking you to locate all the theaters in my area that has the show I want to watch and come back and tell me all the locations and play times. Kind of a silly request.

Didn’t buy Cranston before, not gonna buy now. Didn’t win king butt before, doubt i’ll win now. Even with most other things in my game. I remember epic. Currently fighting with extra rare. Silly game. Still playing, but don’t really care. Repetition is repetitive.

When you get verification of the below information, will this post be updated or will there be a new one? I’m holding off placing the new pyramid until some characters free up in the am. Might not even place pyramid until afternoon so I can pre-task some characters too earn his items. The King is the only one I’m missing from other returns, so very happy to see him back. But I do wish I could get a Clamterprise!

Any other news? I know it only just passed 9am PST, but I still havent placed my pyramid and i’m getting antsy. All characters have been sent on the tasks to collect items, so once I place it I can just clear everyone for their first collection

They JUST got in… so no. Lol. I honestly would lean towards it all goes on the 3rd including King Butt… so I would get him as quickly as you can. My opinion anyway as the Pyramid is stamped with the end date and time in its pop up (See post)

So, in theory, if you have Bryan Cranston, you should have everyone work to get the Ankhs and Ghosts first? Since he drops one item every time, if nothing else is left, he must drop a Sonic Screwdriver every time he gets done throwing some pizza.
So many characters are cross-listed that I wasn’t sure what item to focus on first.

That is a good game plan. Knock out the most common ones. If same character drops same items, but one task is a bit longer… those usually drop faster.

I guess I’ll get King Butt now. here’s what I need to return: Jesus (was SO close), Pee Pants (also close), and I would like Consuela to go on sale again which happened I think twice before? maybe once. Whoa! I too have Diane Simmons in my inventory. My timer ran out on her during Halloween. Haven’t bought anything from the mystery box yet. Pretty cool.

And (so it says, it’s yet to update in my top bar despite checking FaceSpace & going to Ollieland) it finished the halloween set giving me 50 clams! Which means I could afford the mystery box!
…although since it says vol 1, I’m wondering if I should wait. ooh! I hate timed events! & why do they always hit *after* I’ve sent characters on 24 hour tasks because there was nothing going on???

I also found Francis in my inventory. I remember that I was working on him during the Halloween event but didn’t finish in time. For a bonus I also got the 50 clams for completing that character group. Very interesting.

Just starting playing this a little over a month ago so I missed out on a lot of characters… Even though I did unlock phineas and Barnaby with ease… King Butt looks like he’s going to be tough… The screwdrivers are going to be a pain to get especially cause I only have quagmire out of that whole list.. Debating whether or not I should buy Bryan Cranston… Since he helps you King Button… Ahhh decisions… Im freaking out… Btw I did not get Francis or Diane… So those of you who got her.. Consider yourself lucky =/

Ok wow, so while I’m busy working on King Butt, others will be released as well that I will have to try to have done by feb 3rd?? Or is it just KB until Feb 3rd, then we switch to a new group? I’m hoping that’s it, cause it’s gonna be hard to get all of the items for everyone it they roll out every few days.

so I have Diane & Francis in my inventory…if I place them will I have to collect items to unlock them? I don’t want to place yet if that’s the case because all of my characters are doing tasks at the moment.

instant unlock for me. All of Dianne’s tasks were available too even though she’s only at level 1

My one notice is that even though I’ve got Stewie unlocked, I don’t see the option for the iron baby costume… idk I might be missing something & he might be a part of “volume 2” or limited to the mystery box… either way I’m all too happy with it, I get my shot at King Butt again!
