Hello There Clammers!
Dropping in with some much needed GOOD NEWS about candy in the Telenovela Event. Are you ready for it?
The Candy requirement has been changed to….35! They’ve dropped the required number of candies down 20. So now you’ll only need 35 Candies to unlock Spanish Soap Opera Peter! So many of you should be there already!
The event still ends at 3pm PDT on 3/18/15….BUT with this candy drop many of you should have no problem getting him!

I went into the game and noticed i could craft him. He is dressing himself as we speak. Thank you bunny and alissa! And yeah i am back, have been on holiday and also sick but now i am back and ready to tap 😊

The players have spoken, and the overlords have listened – I am impressed. Just finished crafting SSO Peter, and a great sense of calm has washed over the land. I also have the distinct feeling that you ladies were instrumental in making this happen, so 1000 thanks for your efforts. Maybe now I an get some sleep before the Trek begins…

Just now got my 35th candy, checked Al’s… woohoo!
Still don’t have Telenovela Peter yet though. Short four hats. I don’t have Consuela helping me. Housekeepers are so expensive!
Too bad Hi-Yah’s is not in my store any longer or I’d blow all my clams on that (once I unlock the skin, that is).

This is awesome 😀 . Now I’ll be able to get Spanish Soap Peter without a problem. I was already about half way with the candies when the requirement was 55. But, I would’ve had to spend some clams to buy him because there was no way I would’ve been able to get up to 55 candies by the end of the event. Especially considering that, at least in my game, it doesn’t always drop candy when I smash the pinata.

We should give thanks where thanks is due, and for me, it was the Addicts poll which made the difference. Almost 700 hundred post in less than 12 hours. Great work B and A!!!.

I noticed this just a few minutes ago during a check in. Love how you guys help us sooooo much. I’m a freemium player and only use clams that take forever to save up to get premium characters. You all always help me get the best experience out of my game play. THANK YOU ALL!!!!

Of course lower it after I spent the money to get the piñata. So pissed off at this game right now. Might actually stop playing because of that. That is really messed up. Tiny co should do something for the people who bought it. Really not cool/fair at all!!!!!

Send them a message and ask them. You never know what they’ll do. However, a word of advice. Be nice about it. Don’t tell them it’s not cool or unfair. Just say you just purchased it to help you get the pinatas, since they weren’t dropped fast enough. After you purchased it they dropped the required candy. Is it possible to get a refund for the Pinata.

relieved sigh. I was at 43 candies as of 345pm eastern today (&38 bandanas and just finished the break 50 pinata task (so I broke 51, and earned 43 candies))

This is awesome news. With this change I now have everything but the Hats. 15/20 there. That’s going to be tight without Consuela, but as of right now he’s only 25 clams. I’m going to keep working and will happily spend the clams to rush him at the end if it comes to that.

That’ll probably stay. BUT that’s the last part of that questline. There’s nothing after it. So if you finish it or don’t it doesn’t make too much of a difference

it appears that the new lower cost means candy stops dropping once you have all for peter, so those that didn’t complete the quest prior to the change cannot. …or my drop rate is just slapping me in the face, I am 0/3 when I logged in after change (surprised I had 3, not 2 piñata to smash)

Extremely happy right now because I just created SSP outfit. Should be finished in the next 4 mins. OH TinyCo., you just made SOOOO many people happy. Why do they ever doubt that you will come through? PATIENCE!! Thank you Thank you Thank you! And I can’t forget Alissa and Bunny…who would everyone have to vent to and then get CHECKED when it gets out of hand??? lol ok thats all I’m going back to my game now…

I just smashed a piñata and was disappointed I didn’t get a candy. Then I went to Al Harrington’s and noticed the change. Now I just need one mustache to finish him off. I will save those clams for the Star Trek stuff. So glad Tiny Co listens to the concerns of the players it’s refreshing really

Just created Spanish Soap Opera Peter. Of course I had just sent Peter out again to get a blindfold. Oh well. Glad to have him done and able to proceed with the quest line. Time to rest and wait until Thursday. Gonna save the clams for Star Trek.

Smashed a piñata at 4PM. Went to harringtons to get an update and saw a check mark on the candies and create at the bottom. So I did. I really believe that the poll you started earlier today was influential in getting these changes made. TinyCo listened and made the changes. Thank you ladies once again for how you look out for us addicts.

Was so glad to get a message from tinyco about this! When I logged in I had 36/35. Outfit unlocked! TC seem to make some bad judgements in events from time to time, but they nearly always rectify after polite feedback from us addicts! Thanks TC!
