Kinda disappointed that there is so much going on…Makes it hard to keep up when I work also. I am extremely bothered & upset that there was no St. Paddys stuff considering I know Family Guy & even American Dad show by heart every episode. I know the cast of Family Guy would be disappointed by it also. Sometimes this game is a lil overwhelming but I love this game so much!!!!!!

I’m hoping TinyMatt will respond regarding those of us stuck short of Dilithium Crystals and no more Tribble spawns. My wife and I are both stuck now, the only event quest is to unlock Riker, We have everything but the crystals now and the quest that involved tapping 35 has come and been completed. We’re stuck. No more more crystals = No Riker = No Enterprise = No more Crystals. On my game I could spend the 2 clams to complete Riker, but it’s the principle for me. My wife is short 36 crystals. I understand TinyCo may want to limit things so people don’t exploit the spawns but that quest was a very poor choice to hinge the spawns on. It would have been better to hinge them on unlocking Riker, or just completing that one requirement for him. Once he’s unlocked a whole new world of options is available on the ship.

I missed the question chat. Did they mention if we get to keep the Characters we unlock after the event. I saw that we won’t get to keep the Enterprise but will we get to keep Ryker, Crusher, Troi, etc after we unlock them in the game? Thanks.

As with any event, Characters purchased/unlocked during game play are yours to keep. 😉 (They are usually listed in your FaceSpace and/or Al’s as well)

Love the Star Trek event. TNG was my childhood, absolutely love this. Thank you so much for building this into the game! Going to be a lot of fun!
My comment isn’t ST related at all. I submitted a report a while back that I had not received the King Butt character and never heard back. I submitted it right after that event. Any help with this?

Hi, sorry if this has been talked about. But playing on iOS and the tribbles have stopped spawning, but you need them for dilithium to get riker and I’m only on 80. Is there any other way to get dilithium without spending clams?

Only option right now is Clam and questlines. I already forwarded my concerns to them. Hang in there.

Doesn’t the turbolift give you 20 crystals like every 16 hours?

Once you get there. Some are still stuck in Quahog without Riker to get to Enterprise.

I’m stuck because of the stupid beard trimmers. Drop rate is awful in both games. Very frustrated right now.

Sorry if I am asking questions already asked but I did my best to scan through all the older posts first…, anyway….
Is everyone showing Locutus on the Bridge or is it just because I already have Patrick Stewart from Comic Con? And with all if this Stewart goodness we really need Bullock from American Dad to join the cast now.
Also, any chance you can invent a Tribble Detector ™? As Bunny suggested, I have deleted most of my pavements (sidewalks to you) but it just looks wrong. I would prefer an easier way to spot them other than when you need dilithium for a quest.
Love the game. Love your previous answers. Keep up the excellent work. TinyCo owes me back two hours of my life per day since last April.

They will show in two spots. One for ONLY Quahog. One for ONLY Enterprise. Each one has specific things they are collecting for.

I know the event has only been going on for a day or so, but this is by far my favorite one yet.

I wish more characters had chances to drop items. It’s always the same 3 or 4 characters that drop items. I worked to get all the characters I have, it’d be nice if they get an actual use.

Matt, if you’re still around, I just noticed on that the Earl Gery’s Hawt Tea building, the sign on the building is backward when facing southeast. Facing southwest, it’s fine.
I have a similar problem with the L’il Orange stand. One way it’s fine, the other, it shrinks down to one square.

Not really event related but I was wondering if TC has ever considered offering past characters available to buy? Something like, every Friday having a character from a past event in the store for 250 clams. Or having a Friday mystery box with skins or premium decorations from past events. I just started playing in December and I just thought this could be a way to get some of the stuff that I missed out on.

They have done this in a best of 2014 event were all charecters in comicon full moon and haloween were brought back some premium some fremium i acept it’s not a constant thing and I would like that to but don’t you think it kind of takes the edge out of events?

This isn’t a question but, I just finished District 9 and respectively, they changed it and now I’m on District 11. It makes sense but they never changed the number. So right now Olivia comes before Pawtucket Pat

Well to be fair… WE might have called it District 11 (more for it is the 11th one), but they always called it the Fine Arts District aka Blimp District. So it is an extension of 9 in a way and will now go before The Brewery.

Hi bunny I haven’t updated my game yet frm valentines and I cannot get into my game starting yesterday. It is an error load msg about Star Wars crusher not in e buildings. Secondly if I update today or tmrw will I have missed a ton frm this Star Trek event?

Thanks for reporting in. Now I can rest up for the month. I only know TNG from watching the last episode of Enterprise. Too bad they only chose the one show. Two other ST series went for 7 seasons as well as TNG. Coulda been fun.

Tribbles in my Quahog are not spawning at all and I was not on for a few hours before I just checked. When I tap Riker and hit go it says there are no more. What is wrong?

I’m an Android user Bunny and I downloaded the patch as soon as they released it but still nada. I can’t remember exactly when my tribbles last spawned, maybe around noonish? It was before, I had unlocked Riker. I just unlocked him now and boarded the Enterprise and no triibles in outerspace either. Anyways, I know they are working on a new fix but just wanted to be sure they knew it was not just iOS stuck.

I’m enjoying the star trek event so far and I know it’s just the tip of the ice berg these first 2 days. As a few others have posted I would love to see a back to the future even some time this year. Also as others have written more characters given an event item to drop, Thanks for you time.

First of all have to say I really love this game 🙂
Loving so far this event….and this is coming from someone who isn’t to interested in Star Trek at all (allthough damn you for making me rethinking if I should try it or not X3).
I have a few questions that probably you can’t answer them yet but still:
1- in the apple store description it says Bertram is going to appear in this event…….will we get an explanation of how since he is technically dead? (just a yes or no will be fine don’t spoil anything X3)
2-We get a star trek event…..can I hope for Doctor Who one in the future? (we got that TARDIS-like prize in the comic-con even’t after all)

Hi! I hope I don’t write this too late…
My only request is PLEASE!!! make more characters useful for events 🙂 please please!! from premium guys like Jake, Buzz, BD horse and Consuela… to some other ones like Santa, Cupid, John, both bitches… the Alien, Predator, Jasper, The Smith Family (Roger could be dropping dilithium right now) and so many others.
I know that it feels unfair for early players, but at the same time it is frustrating for others playing for longer. This could also be encouraging to keep buying/earning those characters (a few tasks to get event currency would be just fine, just make them useful) . Thanks!

i just got riker and the enterprise is open,but now im not getting any tribbles! i was getting them like crazy every hour,but now nothing.i have over 400 dilithium crystals and i dont think i got the 10 clams either

Matt had to run back to the Office, but I will try and help. A patch was sent just a bit ago for Tribbles. You may need to wait for the next spawn (they drop every hour) and check again to see if they are back. As far as the Clam issue, it is part of a questline Challenge once aboard the Enterprise and into the dialog a bit. 😉

I have been away from my game for a few hours. I just went in and there is no tribbles. When I tap Riker and then go it tells me there is no more. What is wrong?

Hi Matt,
If you build a room on the enterprise, say the crew room and then change the room at a later date, can you change back to the crew room for nothing or do you have to use dilithium to build it again? Basically can you alternate between rooms you’ve built without having to build them again?

Once you buy it, future constructions will be free if you swap them out. It will say “owned” in the room selection screen if you have one stored.

Do you guys outsource your Help Desk? How many people are currently on support tickets? What are their off hours? So if we send a ticket in after ____ we shouldn’t expect a response.

We do everything in house, with some remote agents to help take up volume. Peak hours are 10am – 7pm seven days a week, with a smaller staff on weekends focused primarily on catching new issues.
The time you send the ticket shouldn’t matter. If you don’t get a response of any sort after 5 business days, something went wrong. This happens more than I would like it to, and we are looking at ways to address it.

Excited for what this event holds, looking forward to what it’ll bring. I think Tribbles are the first event “roamers” which split into lots more temporary roamers. Any chance their tap targets could be on a layer “above” the tap targets for crystals?

Hi Matt,
I can’t get the event to show. I updated the app, but where the special events normally go, there’s an empty space. No shuttle craft – nothing. This sucks. I’ve contacted Tiny Co and included screen shots to show what I see, and after 22 hrs no response.
What’s the normal response time Adams am I the only one with this problem?

Hi Matt. Is there any possibility we might see Bunny & Alissa as characters in the game? I’m sure those rights would be easier to work out than others you have had. 😉 We rely on them so much they might as well be in our game. 🙂

We’re having difficulty securing the rights to Alissa’s likeness. She’s really expensive. We have a call in with her agent, though.

The passing of Mr. Nimoy crushed us, and we saw it ripple through the TQFS community as well, even before Star Trek was announced. We are examining ways to treat this with respect.

As regards to the Enterprise Rooms, I’d like to know if once the event ends, do we get to keep a deco/building version in our town of both the premium (those which cost clams) & non-premium (those which cost crystals) rooms we would’ve built during the event, or is it just the premium rooms bought with clams?
Also, are there any plans of keeping the entire Enterprise game area available to visit even after the event ends (similar to Krustyland in Tapped Out) as it’d be really disappointing in letting it go after you’ve all made such a good and detailed job in recreating it in the game?

1) yes, you get to keep decos of both versions
2) We are looking into whether we can create a static version players can visit. This is not at all confirmed, though, and might not happen.
