Star Trek has arrived in Quahog! And with this first phase you’ll unlock Riker, Geordi, Starfleet Peter and travel to the Enterprise!
During Phase 1 several questlines will popup in order to help you understand the event ahead, and prepare our Tiny Quahogs for travel to the Enterprise! (even Joe gets his diapers packed!) Working your way through these questlines will help you earn more Dilithium Crystals and XP to help you better move through the event, and buy Enterprise items!

The drop rate for the green energy stuff is ridiculous. Bonnie has done nothing but the task for that item for 2 days with no payout. The only one I’ve gotten was when the room finished building and you get one automatically. I thought it was rare, not ultra rare😒

Latinum loans is more expensive than Earl Grey’s Hawt Tea, and isn’t required in any quests. Anyone know if it’s better in any way? Does it give more crystals?

After reading how far everyone else seems to be, I don’t think I am playing enough..I thought I played too much, but apparently you have to play almost 24/7, it seems… I don’t have time for that. Guess we will see how far I get. Just got my 10 clams and starfleet Peter. Starting on Geordi La Forge now, I guess.

The option to unlock Ferengi Mort isn’t there anymore. I’m only on “Captain and Idiot part 5” and just barely unlocked Starfleet Peter. Did I miss something?

Are you still creating Starfleet peter at Al’s? You can only create 1 costume at a time so while one is creating the other temporarily disappears. It will come back.

So I have “replicated” both the Tea Shop and the Starfleet statue, but did not seem to receive XP credit for either item. The Statue seemed to be worth 70 XP, and the Tea Shop was 50. My XP “progress bar” did not increase after the creation of either item. Has this happened to anyone else?

You may not notice it move as it takes more and more XP to fill it as you go, so I ask this… did you notice it “light up”? That is what I saw many times. It did light up, but did not visually seem to move, then next thing I know I was to the next level.

Pretty sure it did light up after each one, but that’s happened for every task completion so far, too, and I would sometimes see tiny increases in the bar. I figured 50 or 70 XP would move the bar a nice big chunk. I’ll just wait and see if it works out like it did for you. Thanks!

Same here. I just hope they don’t rerelease Patrick Stewart for clams, and make him necessary to get Picard. Then clams really would be necessary if you started playing too late to get him and want to complete the Facespace collection.

But there in lies a dilemma. Patrick Stewart was just sold during the Best Of 2014 Event for Clams, so to NOT make him Clams would be a slap in the face to all those players that just bought him don’t you think? I think it would cause a massive uproar for them to offer him free/earned.

Well, it would kind of be like a store having a sale after you just bought an item. You might be annoyed that you already got it, but that doesn’t prevent stores from having sales. Also, buying him for clams now would be worse than buying him then was, since the players that bought him then would get to benefit from both events.

I think as long as it was very difficult challenge it would be ok. I’m thinking like having to collect 600 items in 5 days with one hour tasks hard. No one ever said those characters would never be available free again.

Yes. But this is a bit different. Either way. It’s a tricky balance for TinyCo to not discourage those players that pay into the game and keep it going. If they do…the game won’t be able to continue.

As it will grow and change as the Event progresses each week… that is impossible to say. What I can offer is to just keep an eye on the blog and each week we will note who is needed where.

Does anyone know if dilithium crystals will continue to be a primary currency in subsequent rounds? Am debating holding off on finishing the “Officer and Idiot” storyline so I can keep farming tribbles. Am totally geeking out over this event…absolutely love it.

It will be the main currency source of the game along with the materials. Mainly due to it has it’s own menu icon.

This even has been nothing but a huge annoyance. First the tribbles go away for two days and I cant unlock Riker. Now I get on the stupid enterprise, and I cant ‘tap the warp core’. Am i just missing something? Is my game cursed? Am i just dumb lol? Alissa please help, Im so lost.

✨Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I know what you’re talking about: This is “An Officer and an Idiot PART 3” and as soon as I got to this part I was a bit confused as well, but figured it out in the next second… First step in that is too “Power Up Engineering”, means to unlock that part of the ship with 2 Life Support Energy. After you get the 2 cubes you can now unlock it and get to “TAP” the Warp Core…And to even get to that part of the questline, you had to have Riker already unlocked so you shouldn’t be too “annoyed” with that anymore lol…(Hence, Riker is needed for An Officer and an Idiot PART 2 “Have Riker Think Deeply”) 😝😀

I sent the blimp off as I collected 13/13 items needed my game shut down and crashed my blimp hasn’t came back…? I still haven’t got Olivia and now none of my characters are collecting plutonium needed for the blimp/Olivia

I noticed this morning that my Stewie cupid ststue from the Valentines event is dropping dilithium crystals. I figured it was a fluke, but it just paid me 5 again. Has this happened to anyone else? Do we know of any other items this may happen to as well?

So I did the enterprise out of order
Crew room>super cargo bay>cargo bay and just started the build for robotics lab.
Peter popped up to what I assume as the 200 in 2 day Tribble quest. Won’t be clicking it until another 45minutes so I can start with rather than without a spawn.
I finished Riker Friday around 3ish. Then Peter about 8 but spent 10 clams bc the hamburgers are awful!
Have two rainbows and 1 book left for Geordi. I worked on the rainbows since Friday night finally got one saturday, nothing yesterday, and 2 this morning. I wrote in app some suggestions for the rainbows bc they take sooooo long and even though they are uncommon they was dropping like rare or epic in my game. As usual when I write in app I get something I hadn’t gotten in forever so makes me look like a donkey.
I have 1 pod plant and 1 tree as of right now. I am almost done collecting for the tea store and have 10/10 and 2/5 of the energies for Mort. Hopefully will have him soon as well as Geordi soon.
Love the tribbles but not on the enterprise bc I always click on something and have to try to exit out and back to see them quickly. It makes it very annoying while trying to pop the extra ones that spawned since they last for a few seconds only. I notice losing one or two of the extra when that happens though, so no big deal.
Really liking the event so far. I’m not a big fan like most are so I’m not geeking out over it but have fun talking about it to MyGeek Husband 🙂 I am looking at it as any other event and I have to get all the free items or I will have lost the challenge in my head and my uncompleted challenges would have another strike (dang you pee pants circus events! Still got PPP at the end of the year event though) Maybe something might even come around I spend some of my hoarded clams on!

I have unlocked everyone except for Ferengi Mort. I will probably replace my robotics lab with a second Super Rad Cargo Bay for the ore! I like the pace of this event so far. Plenty to do and I love the enterprise!

Crew Quarters are in neither the Quahog shopping cart nor my Enterprise shopping cart. In fact, the only items in my Enterprise shopping cart are the Uncharted Planet mystery box and characters (all of whom are locked except Starfleet Peter for clams). No other rooms are buildable from my shopping cart.

1987 is calling for its awesome soundtrack. Seriously, one of the highlights of the franchise is the music so it’s nice to hear it in the game.
I was in elementary school when the first season came out and I was worried the show wasn’t going to make it. The episodes with the Amazon planet with the knight rider chick and the black people planet was just horrendous.
They hit their stride in the second season, though; unfortunately, at the expense of axing much of the old writing staff.

You have to remember that ST:TNG was also the flagship show that was to launch the UPN network. It had an uphill climb because it had to compete with the original series fans who felt Kirk, Spock and McCoy should have been the main characters in the new show and still live up to the fantasized vision that TOS created. The twenty years between the two shows had seen huge changes in the world and the stories TOS could do were no longer relevant (the Ferengi were a result of the more materialistic world the 80’s were, as was having a Klingon on the Enterprise a result of the fall of the Soviet Union).
I always felt Wesley was a detriment. Here we have the flag ship of the Federation with the best and brightest in their various fields and this teenager is able to out think them a lot of the time to the point that if he weren’t there the Enterprise was destroyed.

Bonnie has yet to drop for me. It going to take forever to unlock Ferengi Mort. I’m going to have to make another Super Cargo Bay to make up for her lousy drops. If all goes to plan I’ll get him by tomorrow night.

None from Bonnie and she’s been going nonstop since Friday or so and only 1 from the bay and that was the freebee you get when you build it. Nothing in last 2 days have everything plus more for Mort and the last building but no green cubes are dropping.
Also. The Rainbow is a joke. 3 characters 60 hours later and still waiting on the last rainbow. Those bloody things are EPIC. Hate to tie three characters up for that long but since the refuse to drop all stuck to do it all over again or pay 25 very precious points.
At this point I’d almost pay for the stupid green energy that Bonnie and the Super Cargo bay are SUPPOSE to drop.
Other that that Just started the Olivia quest. So at least that is giving me something to do with all the waiting.

Since the Enterprise rooms are limited, may I suggest to think ahead of what order to build the rooms in?
The Cargo Bay and Robotics Lab drops items for Geordi and Starfleet Peter, so they should be built first to help you.
Once you have reached the required ammount of those items, replace them with the Crew Quarter and Super Rad Cargo Bay so you have two of each, to help you get more Life Energy and Syntheser Ore.

Does anyone know if there is more than one design for the crew quarters? Mine definitely belongs to Worf (who is strangely absent so far). I would absolutely buy more crew quarters if they were different (i.e., designed for each of the other crew members as well).

This is the same thing I did, except i haven’t done the replace with Super Rad Cargo Bay step. If there don’t end up being more than the two items to spend synthesizer ore on during the event, I feel like I’d regret doing this since it’s an expensive room and the tribbles could go away at any time now.

I’m attempting to create Starfleet Peter. So far I’ve made three attempts to earn any of the 8 required Replicator Hamburgers, and zero have dropped. As these are “uncommon” I would have expected at least one by now. Just want to make sure this isn’t another glitch in what has so far been a less than perfect event launch. I’m currently in progress on An Officer and An Idiot Pt. 3 (haven’t yet earned enough Life Support Energy to unlock the Engineering Bay).

Are you currently creating Starfleet peter or anything else at Al’s? Once that’s done and you’ve cleared it out Mort will return to the Replicator. It gets pulled temporarily since you can only create one costume at a time.

While visiting friends this morning to collect clams, I noticed that there was a yellow, rectangular container sitting on the round transporter pad next to the crashed shuttle, but my town doesn’t have the box. Do we know what that is for yet?

Just got geordi this morning – so I should be all caught up by tomorrow for tasks. Great event so far. Now just collecting items for mort and should have him before Thursday – as well as ready to upgrade. Curious to see how easy it is to get crystals once the tribbles disappear – here’s to hoping they stay around a bit longer.

Question for the community and you guys. Is it just me or does collecting xp points seem to take longer than past events? I’m still on warp level one and still have half to go. Am I missing something? Also past events had few characters you could use to send on 24 hr tasks to help collect xp and event currency but it looks like they are not doing this with ST. Just curious. Thanks for all you do.

All events seem slow at first and pick up speed as new characters unlock to help and buildings and decorations are added as well to help.

I was wondering the same thing. I’m only half way to level two and that has never been the case by day 4 in previous events. I hope the action picks up soon because dilithium makers are too rich for my blood.

Im going to hate to lose the enterprise. Im starting to wish that this would just remain a Family Guy/Star Trek hybrid permanently.

I wonder if the events ends the tasks which are exclusive to the enterprise (starfleet icon on the task) will still be available

Agreed. I even love the ambient Star Trek music that is played on the Enterprise. I hope there is some way to keep it.

I hate being a pest but every time I go to the Enterprise my game freezes.
I uninstall, reinstall, power down and restart but the game still freezes when I go to the Enterprise.
Is there a lot of traffic between 5 am to 9 am because that’s when my game freezes the most.
Then it freezes around 9 pm to 1 am.

Are you just using Riker? Or do you have Crew’s Quarters as well?

I have 3 quarters and riker seems like I will never get enough. Some things are asking for hundreds of life support to unlock

It will always seem slow at first. No worries, only a few days in. More and more options to earn Materials will come into play. Just keep going as you can and unlocking as you can. 😉

Hi Clammers!
I’m really impressed with the characters that could be unlocked for free as usually they will costs clams.
I was wondering if Ferengi Mort is useful to be unlocked now in terms of producing Crystals or energies or later as he costs 5 life enegies which can also be used to unlock Klingon Chris section of the enterprise.
I’m barely half way to level 2 it might take a long time just to get there.

You won’t be able to unlock any other sections of the Enterprise until the appropriate week comes, since they all require upgrading the warp core. I’d get what you can now before you start saving up for other weeks.

For the starfleet statue, you say it needs two life support crystals to craft, but in my game it’s showing five?

Is it true that tribbles will stop spawning after getting Geordi? I’ve read about this happening on another blog and just wanted to make sure. Much thanks for the walkthrough btw. You guys are awesome 😉

Here’s the basics on that. They’re SUPPOSED to stop at Part 7 of An Officer and an Idiot, but the Tribbles were being Temperamental. Because of it… they spawn on within the Enterprise til TinyCo shuts them down some time this week. In short, enjoy them while you can.

Does anyone else hink this is hilarious? Tribbles causing trouble for the inside workings of the game. What did you think would happen TinyCo?

There even going to stop spawning for the people who payed for the room that spawns them… I hope I didn’t waste all those clams on a room that’ll stop spawning them

I seriously hope that’s not true… I paid for that room so I’d have something fun to tap on all event (plus getting crystals), not just week one! If it is, I’ll certainly be contacting support. I would expect the room to become useless after the event and knew that when I purchased it, but there was no indication at the time of purchase it would stop spawning tribbles so soon!!

I highly doubt it will effect furballs dropping from that room. If it did, for some crazy reason, people would be in an uproar and I’m sure they would fix it quick. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I’m a little worried. I’m only at An Officer and An Idiot Part 5. Life Support Energy are dropping really slow for me.
Hope I can finish on time. Just to clarify, will I be able to continue with stage 1 when the next stage starts On Thursday?

Don’t stress it. Go your own pace. You can keep going with where you are. Sometimes it’s not a bad thing to be behind. You can see what others have tried or done and have a better idea of what’s to come. 😉

I like to be a day behind for the reason of avoiding the glitches and bugs that often come in the first day of an update, for I am a man not a guinea pig….Besides, its easy to catch up later in events if you use FGA’s walkthroughs to send characters on the appropriate tasks before the game tells you to. Sometimes you can use this tactic to finish off most of tasks in a long questline in one shot,just hit those check marks in the right order.

same here, the geordi drops are very slow. but we still have 3days until phase 2 of event…..so i guess it ll work out ^^. im glad that we aren’t rushed with this event nor need use all characters for the event. I am still busy trying to unlock other quahog characters while doing the star trek event so…..

In a few hours I’ll start forge ahead part 3….. Other then that I’m waiting till Thursday to continue… I’ve unlocked all characters and the skin. Even bought all of the enterprise rooms available so far… Might I say holy Tribble… The room really spits them out.. All I’m waiting for between now and Thursday is the materials to finish off two things to build in the replicator… Ahhh not sure if my ocd is showing or I’ve just had an event withdrawal for the last couple days/weeks getting amped up for whatever the next big update was going to be..(I was expecting st paddys day but this is much better).. I’ve completed literally everything (main game through to the end of the fine arts district) so now the only quests I get are from the events..
