Phase 2 is live! So head over to Quahog and transport to the Enterprise the Wrap Core should be waiting for you to upgrade! (Provided you reached Level 2 in XP and completed Part 7 of Officer and an Idiot)

To do away missions you’ll need Transporter Energy () and then you’ll be able to send various characters away on the mission (yes, the character will be tied up for the amount of time the mission takes.) You can send multiple characters, different characters/combos will earn you different items.
To Wai Iota IV you can send Geordi, Starfleet Peter, Klingon Chris, Deanna & Worf on Missions
To Oh’Nos you can send Geordi, Ferengi Mort, Riker, Klingon Chris & Worf on missions.
To Kronos you can send Ferengi Mort, Riker, Klingon Chris, & Worf on missions.
Tribble Note:
If you still have Tribbles on the Enterprise and you let them wonder into Ten Forward, if you tap on them in Ten Forward they’ll super multiply and you’ll get a ton of Tribbles to tap on.
FYI, TinyCo warned that they would STOP Tribble production later this week. Well, it is later this week. So for those of you that did not invest in the Tribble Room on the Enterprise, you will no longer see the furry creatures running around as often. The spawn rates have diminished and may still disappear completely. So grab them when you can.

There is a bonus offer for Dilithium when you buy $9.99 worth of clams (or more. As long as it’s $9.99 and up you’ll be good)

How long do you have to wait for the Trekkies to appear? I’ve been stuck on frame of mind part 2 for over a day now and they still haven’t shown up. I need to “clear 8 Trekkies” but they are nowhere to be found! I’m starfleet level 7, warp core 4. Am I missing something? Thankful for any help I can get!

And why can’t you put that building into inventory? I’ve little space to move stuff around and storing buildings temporarily helps to manage my real estate. Ugh!

This event is fun but there way to many characters at once. Each stage is 2 characters with items extremely hard to get a hold of because there’s not much characters that drop these items even with those rooms. Feel like more quahog people should be droping and drop rate should be a little higher then what it is now. Why can’t Brian, Meg, Patrick Stewart, stewie just to name some. Those Characters should be dropping something. Patrick Stewart he was a face of Star Stek. He was Captain Picard. Should he be included some how

They’ve changed the Rec Room build time to 10 hours now. Guess I’ll never get those chocolates needed for Deanna as you have to have 6 transporter energies and use 3 characters just to get a likely chance for the them.

Just noticed that if you click on the 3 planets near the transporter you can “buy” more. But it also says “coming soon”….so some contradictions there lol. Anyway, does anyone know what happens if we click “buy”??? Im too scared to click it in fear of spending clams. But my guess is that they are just placeholders for upcoming mystery boxes after the current blue planet one available. Not sure tho.

K, so I looked at the game. What you are actually seeing it the Mystery Boxes. The one that is there to “Buy” now, is just the one I already reported on with Gorn inside. 😉

On my third away mission attempt at chocolate. First two were fruitless; sent a support note that using six extremely difficult to get transporter energies on a less than 50% chance is frustrating. No response, but I just checked in on the countdown for the away mission and it now shows chocolate as “Likely” and the bar is at 100% (I do have all four crewmembers on the mission). Hopefully this means TinyCo has made some tweaks?
I also mentioned in my support note that the cost to buy “uncommon” chocolate is, exasperating, twice the clams as to buy any other “uncommon” item (ex, headbands). No change on this front though…

Okay, last update on this. After going 0 for 2 on this, I went 3 for 3 after TinyCo made their adjustments and I now have Troi. Went from near impossible to done in less than a day, no clams required!

So the other day I got a task that said build 4 Klingon items and relieve a free gift. But I was stuck for a couple days before I could complete the task and now that I’ve built 4 items the task is gone and I didn’t receive a gift. Do you know what’s up with this? I don’t see you mention it anywhere.

A whole day without Transporter Energy again. At this rate the next Christmas event will be over before I (or anyone) it seems will have enough Transporter Energy to get Deanna. They need to make this a better drop rate AND decrease the amount required for the away missions to get chocolate. Or you know have a task/room that drops chocolates. At this point it’s just absurd.

Quick question for Bunny/Alissa (not sure which of you will moderate this lol)
In your experience, does the room swapping method work for premium INSTANT build rooms as well? So lets say i have a crews quarters but then i put Mc Burgertown Outpost over it (instant build), will i INSTANTLY get the yellow life support energy every time i place it? And would this apply for the tribble room as well…every time i technically “rebuild” will it spawn tribbles right away every time?
Just trying to see if it would be worth it to buy a clam room so that i can use that instant build time frame to my advantage. It be pretty great to buy that crystal dropping room and get those hundreds of crystals every time i place it in a new spot! 🙂

As they are instant, no. If you speed the other rooms, same. Using Clams won’t help. It is only waiting for the build.

Much like everyone else not happy with phase 2 and the warp material and drop rates. Does anyone at TC test or try some of the event phases to see playability before introducing them? I mean come on. You need a material that takes 6 hours to make and is a rare drop. You need multiple (2 in one instance and 6 in another) to get a chance of getting materials for klingon chris and commander boobaliscious. And it isn’t even if you luck out and get their materials that one trip is enough. No you need several trips and by the way it’s not a guaranteed drop, but rather rare. Since Thursday (and I check in every 2 hours) I have gotten 5 books. That’s it. 5 books and right now I don’t even have people heading to a planet because my stock of warp material is 0. I’ve had two cycles of zero warp material drops with peter and Mort doing tasks and two rec rooms. That’s 0 drops in 12 hours across 8 chances. Fun. Never mind the fact that the klingon items in the replicator use that same material. Let me rush out and make those real quick. Getting bored and bummed out.
I have seen some trick mentioned with changing rooms. I doubt it’s WAI by TC but I’ll try anything. How does it work? I have 2 rec rooms already and it won’t let me build another. When I try and change a room it only gives a build option. If I select another room it says it will put the rec room in my inventory, but won’t it start building that other room. Do I have to build another room and spend crystal each time? Not sure I get it so if someone could walk through that would be great. Or ya know. Maybe TinyCo can try playing the game and see how frustrating it is and adjust things. Either works for me.

You place it in the location another room is, let it build (won’t take crystals… just time), once built you collect on it, then repeat in another location. You are basically just constantly changing out rooms.

So does anyone have any tips on how to get transporter energy? I send Peter and Mort, have the rec room, and the research facility and have not yielded the number of cubes expected. Since I get a guaranteed drop from the research facility it is the only reason I have gotten enough cubes to unlock the Klingon temple and do one away mission (where I got an amazing 25 dilithium and 5 energy for the 8 hour trouble). I know it’s a rare item so I’ll keep at it but I suppose that Troi is going to be out of the question if I need 12 chocolate bars which are a chance item after an 8 hour away team mission that costs 6 transporter energy.
It seems like the synthesizer ore has a pretty rough drop rate too, but Bonnie is usually tight with dropping items. It did take her 116 episodes to drop Susie.
I hope others have had better luck.

The drop rate on this event is pathetic. Even uncommon stuff refuse to drop with any frequency. Everything seems to be ultra rare. Transporter energy never drops either making unlocking Deanna impossible without paying.

I remember I used to have a quest to get Klingon Chris, and have him to a battle cry. Now that I have Klingon Chris, I realize I haven’t had that quest for a while. He’s still doing his first battle cry, but doesn’t have the quest for it. Also, no quests opened up when I got him. Are other people having this issue?

If you really love this game and think you will be playing it for a long time, $9.99 is gonna go REALLY fast and is NOT a great deal. If you can afford to bump it up to 19.99 and are able to hold unto your clams as long as possible, you will get a better value in the longer run. I play mainly freemium, but do allow myself to purchase clams when there are items that I find truly enjoyable or really mean something to me. Just my 2 cents.

Is anyone else getting totally screwed on these away missions? I’ve been to Oh’Nos 4 times with all 4 characters available ( still don’t have Klingon Chris which is why I’m going there to get the books) and I’m getting nothing but dilithium which I don’t need, I’m not even getting the billboard and the bar is almost completely full!
So far away missions are proving to be a COMPLETE waste of time, if this is what happens to people when they go for chocolate there is going to be ALOT of phones being smashed against walls!

Add me to the list of people that mistakenly bought themselves a clam room for the Enterprise.
I was tapping tribbles, there was a quick flash of a black screen and I now own a McBurgertown Outpost.
I contacted TinyCo but it’s still very early where they are. I thought about promising to buy clams, I’m definitely getting Worf, but thought that sounded too much like bribery. Fingers crossed.

I did the same thing, and immediately sent a message to TinyCo. It took 3 days, but they refunded my clams no questions asked and removed the room (which I had placed in storage). If they get to you, I’m sure they’ll resolve it.

Anyone else having a problem with away missions? Every time I try to start one, the game simply crashes. Even if it’s the 1st action I take after hopping to the ship after a full restart of the ipod, it just falls back to the desktop. My suspicion is that it’s a memory limit problem due to having to load the game, then the ship, and then the mission interface. I’ve got the majority of my buildings and characters in storage to see if that helps, but it doesn’t.
This is a major pain in the you-know-what as it’s preventing me making any progress on the bars of chocolate for Troi. Hopefully Tinyco will add a second source of them.

I have the same problem here & there, its been happening to me since the Valentines event. Make sure to completely turn off your phone when the problem is persistent. Give it a couple minutes before turning back on. Ive noticed a drastic decline in boots. Hope this helps.

Seriously now I lost some of my currency and build a room I don’t want.
Energy is impossible to get. I keep sending character on tasks to get it. Only got 1 and need tons for the planet missions.
No chocolate for the character I have to unlock
Everything is so expensive! If I build one thing for a quest I lose all the currency I have 😡
Oh and crafting is bad too because its too much pressure.
Collecting that collecting this! Impossible to get everything you like to get.
Just bring back comic con event system it was way better.

I too built a room I did not want, trying to get tribbles. This was on Sunday past. I wrote them right away. I have yet to hear from them. It makes no sense to write to them. Last time I had an issue, they got back to me when the event was over! I think they are too busy for us, the players.

Since I am posting… How do you switch out rooms? I built on a room, but can’t find the original room (it is not in my inventory). I want to swap rooms, so as to increase my drop rate of the blue blobs (only got one all day with two rooms that suppose to drop them and Mort and Peter repeatedly on tasks to drop the blue energy). At this rate I’ll never get the six I need to travel to get the chocolates. Thanks.

Any idea as to how often the nerds spawn? The tribbles were pretty consistent in appearing every hour on the hour, but I only first cleared the nerds about an hour and a half ago, so they haven’t yet respawned.

Gah! I just tried to buy Worf and I’m missing about 100 clams. I have looked through my inventory and all of my stuff to see if I accidentally clicked something (not that hard to do when clicking Tribbles) but I can’t find anything. No, unfortunately not at this time. I think Bunny thought you were asking about the quest/timer to buy Worf. Bunny is not feeling well, is taking meds and is drained so I think she just mistook your question. The Traveling Salesman quest was apparently an “oops.” I am assuming that means we weren’t supposed to see that quest at this time or something like that. You will see some more players asking about it in the comments section of the Transporter post.

On a related note, I just bought Worf and if you look on his Facespace page one of his friends is the silhouette of Guynan (sp?). I’m guessing she is premium upcoming. Worf is also voiced now if he wasn’t before. Limited selection but funny.
I also messaged TC asking them to consider a premium skin of Sulu for Takei, if something isn’t already in the works. The return comment said she’d pass it along to the team.

I just got my 10th “extra rare” picture frame in less than 24 hours using only a crapper and nerds and no clams and didn’t even get Jerome to finish his task. I am glad they added a task for Mort to help with Transponder Energy (TE), but I don’t think we should have to rotate rooms every two hours just to accumulate the necessary TE to take trips. 12 chocolate is going to be a challenge at 6 TE a trip. Guessing it will take at least 30 TE (five trips) to get to 12 since it won’t max every time. Then start collecting more TE to craft the replicator items. Maybe they could change it to an extra rare item since I can get 10 of those using two methods in one day but can only get three “rare” TE using three methods in the same time. :p
