Hey there Tribblemakers!
With Phase 2 set to load up in the not so distant future, just wanted to give you all the heads up on some things you may want to get done so you are prepared for the next Phase of the Star Trek Event. 
In order to move on to Phase 2 you will need your Starfleet XP to Level 2, so keep sending those Characters on XP earning tasks and buying/creating items that will drop XP to get you to Starfleet Level 2. 
In this level you will be able to get access to Klingon Chris, the Transporter, and Deanna Troi. More info once it goes live on upgrading your Warp Core to Level 2 and additional steps needed. As you can see the countdown clock will let you know how long until the next Warp Core Level will be prepared to drop. Though our current version is on a little delay. Hang tight and we will post when it does go live. 
Now we do know that Deanna and Klingon Chris are going to be located around Ten Forward. To be able to gain access to Ten Forward, you will need 10 Life Support Energy to unlock it. So you may want to also start working towards getting more Life Support Energy stored up. 
As for questlines, you usually need to have at least the main questlines completed to go forward. An Officer and an Idiot Part 7 is the end of the main questline for Phase 1. So finish up any lil bits of the main questline you may have left. We will know closer to launch time if there will be any other requirements beyond this. 
We do not know just yet who will be needed for the next Phase, we can assume it will most likely be Peter and the new Characters from the Starfleet Crew, so try to keep those Characters on short tasks of 1 or 2 hrs before the new Phase drops.
There you have it, just a quick few tips to get you ready for the next Phase in this really cool Star Trek Event. I know I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Ready and excited! I have 16 ore & 4 of those dark green cubes. Managed to complete the other quests, just waiting on the warp core upgrade!…I’ve had 2 Crew’s quarters since I unlocked laForge. It’s helped a lot with the ore drops!!!

Not really… no. A LOT goes into making a gamewide change to something already built into and coded into the game. To make sure it stays in sync with the World Clocks. Simpler to just post a note hear, Facebook, and Twitter instead. For now… the core says to stand by. 😉

Bonnie has never dropped green ore for me either. I resorted to building the Super Rad Cargo Bay and have gotten a 33% drop rate so far.

I am right there with you. Have not had an ore drop in 3 days. Even bought an extra Rad Cargo room, not happening there either. Bonnie is checking into Betty Ford next week.

Have an idea why there will be a delay. After four days of nothing, Bonnie has dropped ore three times in a row in my game. No doubt caused a massive coolant leak and the warp core is about to blow.

Away missions. Can’t wait to see what these have in store. Hopefully it’s at least a little more involved than the blip in & blip out animation of the time travel excursions. Also if you have the ferengi, his 8-hour animated task will probably start dropping this week’s ore when the event goes live.

Is there any other way to get life support crystals then ricker or the crews corters cause im not getting them very often(i am willing to buy if need be but would prefer not to ) any suggestions would be helpful

Are you currently running 2 Crew Quarters and 2 Super Rad Cargo Bay’s? You can “change” rooms and the old room goes “into storage” — I don’t know if you can actually retrieve it if you want it later or not…
They are also in the mystery box that has some other cool prizes. I tend to avoid mystery boxes myself, but I really do like both buildings and the animated/moving deco’s are cool. If you go after them, your likely end up with some replicator materials.
And worst case scenario, remember you can rush tasks (both buildings and people) that produce the material you want, effectively ‘buying’ them. (this is true for xp, coins, drop items….)

After you put a room in storage, you can build it again for free (just costs the build time). Since you (seemingly) get a guaranteed drop on completion of a build, you can juggle your rooms through storage to get guaranteed drops on items (for example, you start with 2 Super Rad Cargo Bays (SRCB), 2 Crew Quarters (CQ) built and 1 Robotics Lab (RL) in storage. Click on your first SRCB and choose to CHANGE ROOM, choose the RL). Now click on a CQ, choose to CHANGE ROOM, choose the SRCB). Now choose the old SRCB, CHANGE ROOM, choose the CQ. Finally choose the old CQ, CHANGE ROOM, choose SRCB. All 4 rooms will be under constructions and you should get a drop from each when they complete. Yes, the 10 hr build time on the SRCB is longer than the 6 hr chance…but since the drops on rooms seem to be less than 50%, it seems to be worth the juggling.

It’s been surprisingly easy to get this events currency. The tribles help quite a bit. Makes those expensive clam items that generate currency feel quite worthless. Also a huge reason why I won’t try my luck at a mystery box.

I’m looking forward to Klingon Chris. I just barely missed his Blob skin during Comic-con and only cause I’d just started playing. And Goth Chris doesn’t get much use. Meh

I am still short 3 life energy to unlock 10 forward. I did send Riker to get one and I harvested two from crews quarters so with any luck I will get the 10 to unlock it with 10 minutes to spare for the upgrade on the warp core.

As a suggestion, I wish that Tinyco. would have a “Clam Shack.” A place/building in the game where you could buy clams for coins. I know most gamers don’t feel as though you don’t earn many clams in the game. I have about 2.2 million coins that I don’t know what to do with. Seems like most things in game have to be purchased with clams or in an event like this…”dilithium crystals”.

while a great idea, i can’t see that every happening…. “they” want us to spend our money on clams, that’s the goal of freemium games. its the same reason you’ll likely never see similar with donuts on the Simpsons game. that said, least this game is very generous with the clam giveaways unlike Simpsons!

I’m excited to get more characters and build more rooms! I love Star Trek: The Next Generation so I absolutely love this event and never want it to go away. I’m glad it lasts more than a month and they have the whole crew.

I’m almost at Starlet Level 5! Glad that I bought the Dilithium Mine at the start of the event! That sure helps! It drops something like 100 XP every 8 hours…WooHoo! 🙂

I realize many of you are struggling with the drop rates. As per the support message I just received, the drop rate was checked and is currently as was intended. The message then went on to state there would be an alternate way of getting these coming soon. Not quite sure what to make of this but to me it appears they’ve altered the drop rate we’re all used to without announcing it. Just as confused by this as the rest of you. I’ve asked for clarification as the rates have been clear as mud from the onset of the game. More to come later. Good luck.

It means that just as the same with every event… players panic things are not appearing fast enough… but as always… more comes into the game and into play as the game progresses. Pretty much the same rundown of every event they have released. Nothing different.

I’ve almost completed phase 1. About the only thing I won’t get done is crafting Latinum Loans. I’ve got the 10 life support needed plus another 7 for Latinum Loans. If I can manage 1 more of the life support and 1 more replicator ore I’ve got that too.
