Hey there Tribblemakers!
With Phase 2 set to load up in the not so distant future, just wanted to give you all the heads up on some things you may want to get done so you are prepared for the next Phase of the Star Trek Event. 
In order to move on to Phase 2 you will need your Starfleet XP to Level 2, so keep sending those Characters on XP earning tasks and buying/creating items that will drop XP to get you to Starfleet Level 2. 
In this level you will be able to get access to Klingon Chris, the Transporter, and Deanna Troi. More info once it goes live on upgrading your Warp Core to Level 2 and additional steps needed. As you can see the countdown clock will let you know how long until the next Warp Core Level will be prepared to drop. Though our current version is on a little delay. Hang tight and we will post when it does go live. 
Now we do know that Deanna and Klingon Chris are going to be located around Ten Forward. To be able to gain access to Ten Forward, you will need 10 Life Support Energy to unlock it. So you may want to also start working towards getting more Life Support Energy stored up. 
As for questlines, you usually need to have at least the main questlines completed to go forward. An Officer and an Idiot Part 7 is the end of the main questline for Phase 1. So finish up any lil bits of the main questline you may have left. We will know closer to launch time if there will be any other requirements beyond this. 
We do not know just yet who will be needed for the next Phase, we can assume it will most likely be Peter and the new Characters from the Starfleet Crew, so try to keep those Characters on short tasks of 1 or 2 hrs before the new Phase drops.
There you have it, just a quick few tips to get you ready for the next Phase in this really cool Star Trek Event. I know I can’t wait to see what’s next!

So you’ve kinda just began. K…just keep going. As you progress the questlines and characters will help by dropping some as well as the rooms you can build on Enterprise. Also items in the Replicator

I’m having a really hard time getting the blue orbs, the only thing that gives them to me is the building that cost me clams. On another note… To get chocolate for Deanna is the transporter, which takes 6 blue orbs / chrystals. How are we supposed to get the characters, if we can’t even to the task to get the items needed? Very big FG game fan…. Very disappointed FG game fan

Is anyone else having a problem where the game just closes on you? I am trying to tap the quest to start unlocking Deanna Troi but everytime I do the game just closes. Help!

I dislike how some of the actions to collect for the event are the same as the brewery. I no longer need or want anything from the brewery, but the items are still available to obtain, and are now competing with my event items. It would be nice to turn off brewery items.

Anyone else having trouble getting green and blue energy to drop from the Enterprise rooms? I haven’t had any green drop in days, and blue energy at all since building the rooms two days ago. I am only able to get green and blue energy from Bonnie and Peter.

Yes, haven’t seen a single green from the room. Finally got one today from Bonnie and she’s been doing nothing but this quest since it went live. I know they are rare but this is ridiculous. I can’t even get the two needed for the quest let alone to use in the replicator 😦 I am tempted to build another room for them but I am not sure there is a point! Blues aren’t AS bad but they are slow coming too…

Also, why does it take so long to level up the core? You need like 100,000xp, and you only get 1-5 at a time. My 50xp from getting the star fleet statue didn’t even compute. Very disappointed.

Why does the game only let me build Robotics Labs when I click on something else? Fix the glitch! I’m wasting my dilithium.

Does it only show it, or when it is done and you tap on it… does it say that it is still the Robotics Lab?

When I built it, I didn’t build a Robotics Lab but the game put it in as one. It shows up as a Robotics Lab. When I tryto change rooms to something else it asks me if I’m sure I want to build another Robotics Lab because I already have one there. I just can’t change it at all.

I just started playing before the Valentines Day theme and I think this game is awesome. I haven’t spent a dime and I still managed to get to warpcore 2 today and got Ferengi Mort. Just need one more cube to unlock Ten Forward. What was driving me nuts was I just got Stewie yesterday. That took forever, with Brian scooting his butt off and Lois shooting everything in sight. Thank you for this blog, it has made all the difference! I hate to see the tribbles go, though, they are so cute.

Try to see if you can get your game to reconnect to the App Market by exiting and restarting device. If that doesnt work, try exiting, logging out of App Market, restart device, log back into app, then relaunch game and try again.

Relax peeps! TinyCo has been working on this event since January with a very limited full-time staff, dedicated to OUR game. They are on West Coast time (5:30 pm their time) and are probably getting ready for a dinner break now and then, may have a meeting before they roll it out. Relax check back…put Riker on his 2 hr task….it can’t hurt.

Why even have a count-down to upgrade the warp core? If Tiny Co can’t even manage something so simple as the timely rollout of Phase 2 according to their own self-imposed timer, why would I ever trust them with real money by buying clams for this event? I’m not impressed at all, likely done after this debacle is over. I’m tired of excuses.

Why wait until it’s over if this “debacle” is so bad? Just quit. I think this event has been fun and really it’s only a few extra hours to wait. This whole game is about waiting so nothing new.

Take a deep breath…how do I change my name on here?…lol…relax man.. it was just a little delay…there should be no complaining whatsoever right now…except may be about how much you would spend if you bought everything there was for clams…but this event..this “thing” that you are apart of right now…is simply incredible, and should just be looked at in the big picture,because this has never been done before..this is history..this is awesomeness…and you get to be there.

Personally not bummed or upset about the “Warcore” delay. (I’m unsure if it was intentional or not, but it seemed fittingand hhilarious when I saw it in game.) #1 it’s only 4:30 here on the west coast. #2 Tinyco really does adjust the game to accommodate all players and how WE play. I prefer a smooth update with last minute tweaks that are specialized to benefit us players in the whole event. Since they do listen and spoil us with our requests, I’m speculating they may be adding more characters to drop the heavily required forms of energy. An update is the best time to integrate all approved requests. This event is awesome and definitely mind blowing. I can’t complain about a single thing! I must say that this event has been less overwhelming than past events, but by far the most exciting! #3 I still need 4 more life support cubes to unlock Ten Forward once it’s available. Poor Riker thinking deeply pashaw! We all know what he thinks about haha!

Hmmmmmm the new ones may confuse you as they are a reboot but they did a really good job with them.
I think the Movie with Khan is awesome. Star Trek II Wrath of Khan. The Original series are made very cheeply but full of awesome sillyness. The next generation is mainly where this event is based… but to pick one… that is hard.

Next Gen is a TV Series. Just look for Season One Episode One of Star Trek the Next Generation. The Movies for Next Generation are further down the line.

Since the game does have tribles, you should go watch “The Trouble with Tribbles” episode of the original series. I found it on YouTube last week (the whole episode). It would give you a good feel for the original series.

The original series is good, but the first half of the first season is a snooze fest. The Next generation is overall awesome. Deep space nine is good after like season 3

Aside from Wrath of Khan & The Search for Spock which are classic, even as a hard-core fan, it’s hard to suggest any of the others w the original cast. They kinda stink, especially Star Trek the motion picture. The Next Generation movies r, on a whole, better. My favorite is First Contact, but they’re all pretty good. The JJ Abrams reboot movies (the last 2) are phenomenal & enjoyable whether u’r a fan or not.

I am more a fan of the original Star Trek. IMHO, for whatever it’s worth, the best movie is definitely “The Wrath of Khan”. But in order to appreciate it at its fullest, you have to see the Khan episode from the original series.

One of the most user-friendly films for nonTrekkers, I think, is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. It’s well done, funny, good story, has an environmental bent without being heavy handed. The original cast is nicely showcased I think. If you watch ST II The Wrath of Khan and the ST III The Search for Spock you will get more of the inside jokes, but really you can watch The Voyage Home on its own. I hope you become a Trek fan!

You should get to know the characters from the TV series before watching the films. I recommend starting with Season 3 Episode #7 “The Enemy” which focuses on Geordi who we already know a little about from the game. After being trapped on a hostile planet, Geordi is forced to collaborate with a stubborn Romulan enemy to escape. You’ll even get to see what Geordi’s eyes look like without the visor (creepy).

I actually broke down and decided to watch the first episode of the original series… just to see….I don’t recommend starting there. Trek fans…what happened there? It was a captain I’ve never even heard of and the only one I recognized was Spock. And campy and cheesy? Oh my goodness, lol. I get it though, its old stuff. Been all my life without Star Trek EXCEPT… (taking cover from diehards..,lol) for Enterprise. The one where Scott Bakula was the captain. I thought that was awesome. Khan is cool. I remember that from childhood. I think I’ll maybe try episode two…you know..maybe it gets better..
