Hey there Tribblemakers!
Phase 2 is upon us and we now have the option to travel to other planets via the Transporter aboard the Enterprise. WEEEEEE. But how on earth does this work?
Once you get your Starfleet XP to Level 2 and upgrade your Warpcore to Level 2, you will notice the Enterprise start to come more alive. More rooms will start to unlock, like the Transporter Room.
This is another cool feature aboard the Enterprise that will help you earn items to unlock Characters, increase your Dilithium and Starfleet XP count, and earn other items to put into your Quahog with the Star Trek theme.
First lets take a look at the Basics for each Planet.

HOW DO I SEND CREW’S ON A MISSION TO THE PLANETS?
Now for some more in depth information on how the Planet Missions and their payouts work.
Each Planet has a Chance at getting an Extra Item during the trip. To better your chance, you send a specific combination of Characters to the Planet. The game is actually very useful in telling you who is the better candidates as the word under the Extra Item will change. Unlikely, OK, and Likely. You will also see the Energy Bars next to the words go up and down depending on the Character. The highest one will be the most likely item you will get. Let’s give it a try.
I will use Oh’Nos as an example.
Most of the items start out at Unlikely. The Synthesizer showing slightly lower than the rest.
Now to select a Crew Member. Just tap on the Pic Icon of the Character you would like to send on the Mission. Once tapped, a check mark will appear over the Characters Pic and the Character will be placed into the Transporter. Side Note: If the Character is darkened out, that means they are on another task. They can only do one thing at a time so you will have to wait to use them until they are done. Locked ones usually mean they are not available yet. (Though Worf appeared locked instead of darkened when busy.)
At the same time, you will see how this Character impacted the scale on each of the items. You can see what items go from Unlikely to OK to Likely. Swap the Characters around until you find the combination that will gain you the prize you want most.
For this example, I want the Ferengi Billboard. So I will send Ferengi Mort… which moved the Billboard to OK. Then I added Geordi, which highered the OK on the Billboard but also the 45 Dilithium. The Ore is still Unlikely.
Then I added Riker, which turned the Billboard to Likely and the Dilithium Crystals, the the Energy Meter next to the Billboard is still higher so a better chance. It also switched the Ore to OK. (Adding Worf or Chris keep them at same difference, just a lil higher scale… so I won’t bother with them on the trip.) 
Now that I have my Crew, I will tap the “ENGAGE” to send them on their way. Once tapped, you will see them beam away to the Planet.
Then a quick pop up will appear with a recap of how long the mission will take, your Crew, your Chances, and the Payout. It will also show you the option of speeding the quest and clam cost to do so.
Tapping the italic i will just let you know the same, that your Crew is busy and to get them back faster you will have to pay clams. 
Now the Transporter will show a progression icon above it and will fill in until your Crew’s Mission is completed.
Once you see the Check Mark, tap on it and the team will beam back aboard and your prizes will be awarded. You will then be able to see what Extra Item you got with your standard payout. Tapping on Awesome will clear it out and add your awards to your game.
The Materials will go to your counts, the Decorations will Transport down to your Quahog and you will find them in your Inventory Storage, or use the shortlink of the Cargo Container next to the Shuttle in the Event Area.
In Wai Iota IV (pronounced Why I Oughta 😉 ) it seemed most Characters increased the Chance for the 50 Dilithium Crystals.
In Kronos of course Klingon Chris and Worf show better Chance to get the Bat’Leth Battle Arena.
FYI… For the chocolate. It seems combos of Geordi and the Klingons are yielding them more. Not always. But more often. Peter seems to push Dilithium.
WHAT ABOUT THE EXTRA ITEMS?
Let’s take a quick look at all the Extra Items and what they do.
Bat’Leth Battle Arena (Decoration): Sits on a 5×5 Base. Currently not animated though the way the flames are drawn gives it the appearance it is.
Ferengi Billboard: Sits on a 1×4 Base. Currently no animation. The sign itself is hilarious though.
The remaining items are a mix of Materials that can be used all over the Event. Whether its to unlock a Character or help to purchase other items like Rooms.
Basically there is no set guarantee just yet to get the items. It will vary each player. I assume the more Characters that come unlocked on board the Enterprise that can join the Missions, the more options we will see to get Extra Items. Side Note: For me, once a Character was unlocked, the item they needed disappeared. So once I had Klingon Chris, the Dictionaries were gone from the options of Extra Items to earn.

I can’t buy more than two of the rec rooms, which drop the blue crystals needed for the transporter. Is this by design, to limit the amount you can get, or a bug? Ni want to change a bunch of my rooms to this one because I need them for away trips. Thanks.

I’m surprised that with the exception of dictionaries, I already have everything I need to unlock Chris. The continuous swapping of rooms has helped a lot! Unlocking him IS doable before the next event hits. The only thing I have spent clams on is Worf, but I have not used him to help out with obtaining items Chris needs yet, and probably won’t for awhile. Worf has been busy and is gonna be even busier now, getting me Transporter Energy. For the rest of the dictionaries needed, I will KEEP two regular cargo bays on the ship deck at all times, just continuously swap their locations.

Based on my experience with transporter energy drops it is more like extra rare to epic. Only earned one this morning from overnight tasks and that was from research facility which I bought with clams.
The in game promos say Warf drops TE, that is NOT the case. I can see this being a huge source of frustration for the remainder of the event since so much is needed.

I think he means always drops. I think many believe that Worf will always drop the Transporter energy when sent for it, not just a chance that it will happen thus given only another opportunity to get another one.

I’m sorry, but the drop rates for transporter energy are abysmal, and the counts for items to unlock Troi and Klingon Chris excessive. I’ve even bought some of the items to help; no dice. I’m normally pretty supportive of Tiny Co. but this phase seems a tad clam-heavy (meaning I’ll be spending lots of clams if I want to unlock either). ??????

Have to agree about the transporter drops. In the day and a half since this has started with 2 Rec Centers and Peter doing the Peter Maneuver constantly, I’ve gotten a total of 5 transporter crystals. At this rate since you need at least 18 crystals to get the chocolate for Troi, I will be lucky to get her by the end of this event.

yeah, i have the same problem. if you re playing this for free….well, im not half done with star fleet leveling up; still on 2, not even close to getting star fleet level 3. the headbands, heads and chocolate +books we need to get…..haven’t even got 1/3 of them yet. not getting enough crystals to buy more rooms, not getting enough energy to send on away missions……so I fully agree with you.

I’m having a problem with the teleporter… When I leave game and go back the clam thing is always reset to 9 no matter what the time so if in at like 3. Minutes it’s still 9 clams to rush 😦

I can not for the life of me seem to get green or blue crystals. Before the second phase hit and people were complaining about the drop rates of green crystals I thought they were overreacting, but now I know what they were getting at. After the last update I have been playing every hour(except 6 hours of sleeping time) and put down two Rec Rooms and two Crew Quarters but I have literally gotten one green and one blue crystal since then(not counting the ones you get after unlocking Ten Forward). I mean the whole thing seemed difficult enough as it was, but now it just seems impossible.

Try swapping rooms with each other. You get a guaranteed drop when it builds, instead of having to wait for a ‘chance’ drop. This is what many of us have been doing.

Hi, while clicking on the tribbles on the enterprise I accidentally bought a room that cost 125 clams, the red shirt doom room. I had 129 clams but now I only have 4 clams. It took me over 4 months to get them from Ollieland. Is there any way you could take away the room from me and give me back the 125 clams.

You would have to contact TinyCo, as we’re not TinyCo, and see what they’re willing to do. However, I don’t know that they will since a confirmation does popup before you make any clam purchase asking if you’re sure you want to spend them…

This happened to me as well. I never saw a confirmation or even the room choice popup itself appear… I just noticed the room and thought “Hey, nice, they gave us a free room when opening Ten-Forward!”
It was not until I was considering buying Worf that I noticed that Clams were missing.

I’m trudging along bit by bit to unlock both klingon Chris and Diana. Those bliss blue crystals are rare and difficult to get a steady stream . I’ve been holding off building the klingon temple and statue. Hopefully 5 days is enough before the next part.

In order to obtain an object to free Klingon Chirs there is a task for Quagmire to have a jamboree. I do not have the as a task for Quagmire. Is anyone else having this problem. Of course Bonnie hasn’t given an item in over 5 days! Stressed.d

Hello fellow Addicts,
just been looking at Troi and apparently you need to do 12 trips to Wai Iota planet which is fine but at a cost of 6 Transporter cubes which are rare am I the only one who thinks getting her could be a challenge?
i have built all the new rooms available for level 2, one of each, but can still see it taking ages to get enough to unlock Troi!
any thoughts from the community??

Bunny’s advice of “Geordi and Klingons yielding more” for chocolates means you need to really work toward Chris before Deanna. So you need to focus on spending all your transporter energy to get dictionaries so you can have Chris to add in for the trips for chocolate. I awoke with four chances and got none so I will have eight more chances today and don’t expect to get more than three based on what I have seen and what other players are getting. Four trips to get the dictionaries needed (say 16 assuming cargo bay yields nine while you collect energy) needs 12 energy, then you have to start what I am guessing is 30 more energy to make five trips to collect the 12 chocolate. That’s 42 total energy not counting replicator items and anything else that uses the energy that is coming our way. At 12 chances per day and four collected energy per day, it will take 10 days to collect that many energy which will take us to the cusp of Phase Four. I’m tired of TinyCo swooping in and “saving the day” once they see how things play out and realize that they made a colossal error in judgment from the onset. It happens too often. I want to be challenged, but I don’t want fool’s errands. TinyCo wouldn’t have to “react to the feedback of the players” if they would establish doable tasks from the beginning. These trips are a great new twist from previous events and I applaud that, but the set up is flawed …… once again. Why can we players figure this out but the people establishing the tasks can’t?

I wasn’t even planning on attempting to get the chocolates until I had Klingon Chris. Looks like my thinking was correct.
I tried 2 trips to get dictionaries to help with KC, no dice. So I am not bothering with that route either. Seems a waste to keep trying. Not worried about it. Only need 5 more dictionaries and he will be done. When i get KC all i will need for Troi is chocolates anyways Since i only need a couple more amulets as of now.
Anyways the point is I’d rather not waste my ores and just keep saving them for Kirk since I’m thinking he’s going to need a bunch of all four types.

Working towards Chris is great, but my drop rates have become almost non existent for everything. Hardly anything today. Only managed 2 trips in the transporter so far, and haven’t even managed to go to the 2nd planet. I agree with everything you’ve said though, you summed up my thoughts entirely.

I tried Riker La Forge and Mort on the first planet 3 times and got 3 different results. 45 Dilithium, then 5 books, and then 2 s. ore. The highest chance was for the billboard and yet I got everything else.
If I just send just 1 person can I get nothing as a bonus reward? Do diffirent characters actually effect the outcome?

This is by no means a bad event. I just wish it wasn’t so confusing. Usually I try to get as much as I possibility can. This time around however whatever I get, I get. Whatever is left I’m not worried about. I’m almost tempted to give up on it. There is simply too much going on at once.

I’m so upset. I was tapping all over the screen to get rid of the geeks and fuzzy creatures and accidentally bought a premium room. I probably won’t get refunded. I wish they made it easier not to make a mistake like that. I’ve been close to doing this every time I tap the screen.

That’s what happened to me. I was lucky to get a 125 Clam refund. I total them in a letter they need to fix the hit boxes for rooms and to move the Ensign Doom Room away from the 3 first choices. No Clam purchase room should appear when a menu pops up.

I think it’s still working… I changed a load of rooms over night & all payed out. When I used clams to speed up two rooms last night however, neither dropped items. So in essence, don’t use clams to save time.

Some are saying it stopped. Used to be a room would pay right up when built the item inside. So…with two of the same room…you place one and let it build. Tap check mark, collect items, then change room with the second one…repeat

Why do you need 12 chocolat bars when the only way to get them is 4 at a time? should be 3 bars, one bar a trip.
Also, given the uncommon rating, I assume that is a maxim drop rate depending on who you send. So more likey around 6 trips will be required. at 6 per, that comes to 36 transporter energy needed. A freemium player only has 4 chances every 6 hours for it to drop, so around 1 per 6 hours or 4 per day. Super good luck or clams are the only two ways to get Troi by the end of the week and not get behind in the whole event.
I was afraid that this was where they were going when they did telenovela weekend. While they did come through in the end, we will have to wait and see just how far this will push back the average player. I could be worried about nothing. Their plans for next week could be designed to run concurrently rather than the usual consequtively.
I do take great comfort in the fact that its a star trek event that is getting tightened. If I miss something won’t reallh care, pretty much everything is going into storage when the event is over. 😉

Ever since part 2 of the event started, there is less tribbles now… Even though I believe they have been replaced with the geeks, they rarely come as well. In part 1 of the event, the tribbles came after every one hour. In part 2, I have to wait like 2-3 hours just to get something

Here is a good tip that might help some players concerning the Transporter. It’s easy not to notice there are currently 2 planets you can “beam” down to. The default one only gives a Mort bulletin board. If you swipe and select the second planet (name escapes me) then you beam to the planet that Counselor Troi needs to get chocolate bars from. I have a few friends playing and none of them noticed the other planet is available. Good luck.

It looks like there’s something wrong with the update. Like I said earlier I couldn’t load my saved game after I got the Clam refund, so I decided to reinstall the game without loading my saved game to access support through it. The game loaded perfectly the first time giving me the game that’s saved on my tablet, which sits around so I can load my real game. I just tried to load the game and I still get kicked out. I’m going to have to update my report via E-mail. It sucks that I won’t be able to play until Monday at the earliest.
Is this happening to anybody else?

Transporter LOOKS cool, haven’t had the opportunity to try my luck seeing how I’ve been playing for 24 hours and only received 1 Transporter Energy and just got a second 30 minutes ago and have at least 90 minutes until the first character is available. I have peter, mort, riker and geordi.

Try buying a couple rec rooms and then swapping them around whenever they finish “roominating”. Whenever a room completes building you get the extra item, even if you’re just swapping it to a different location on the ship.

I was going on the missions to get the billboard and the arena, and found that only certain ways allowed you to get those items. I’ll spoil it if you ask, other wise, you’re on your own. But I did get both items, but not by going by the chance meters.

Your pics are fine, I just discovered only one sure way to get the billboard and the arena, and it wasn’t dependent on the meters. It was [SPOILER}….just sending Mort alone or Klingon Chis alone, sometimes Worf alone will do it. At least that’s how it worked with me.

I’ve sent mort, riker and geordi to the 1st planet twice (costing 2 blue energy a time) and got 45 dilithium
But when I sent just two of them I got the 5 dictionaries,
Im guna keep sending them to the 1st planet until I get klingon Chris, then I’ll start the away missions on the 2nd planet

Patience. Bunny is very I’ll and on LOTS of meds. No sleep isn’t helping. Trying to keep up all I can but it does get draining and I do need to sleep. Not to mention some comments are easier to just push where others need more time or looking into. That and spotty connections while I finish traveling for the meet up isn’t helping. Don’t worry. It’s not like your voice won’t be heard. 😉

Awwww thanks. I get enjoyment out of helping others. Alissa too. It’s who we are. I get annoyed when I’m sick cuz it slows me down and I don’t wanna slow down. Lol.
I’m just glad that the work we do helps others. Hopefully brings a few smiles to . Even if it’s at the expense of seeing me fall flat on my face. 😉

I’ve only traveled once so far to OhNos. Love the billboard BTW 🙂 I’m curious to know like which character combos have brought back chocolate for Deanna Troi from Way Iota IV. Anyone who has tried it remember?

This is what’s intimidating about this phase. The trips to Wai Iota are the only way to get chocolate (without just paying to unlock them) but at 6 transporter energy per trip, I want to almost guarantee I’m coming back with the 4 chocolate bars before I even commit to the trip. Take into account that Troi is one of the 5 people who can make the trip and it just further confounds the process.

One thing I’ve been doing for the much needed transporter energy, is rebuilding the rec room that drops them. It has a 2 hot build time, and so far i havnt NOT gotten a drop. I’m using the first 4 shots to build rooms, i swap the rec rooms for crews quarters which also has 2 hour build time, so i get 2 yellow cubes and2 blue transporter energy every two hours.
Figured id point that out, its very helpful.

But apparently it doesn’t work for every1 and sometimes doesn’t work u speed up the build with clams….

I kinda understand what you are saying, but if you have all four of the rooms out and collect from them to get the 4 items that means when you go to change a room none of these two types of rooms are in your inventory. What 2 hour build item are you using for your first room swap? Far as I can see there is none so I’m still rather confused on how you are getting two and two every two hours.

U need 2 buildings in storage to replace the rec rooms with for a start
So once the 2 rec rooms are in storage, u then click on any other rooms u have (cargo bays, wardrobe rooms) and replace them with the stored rec rooms
Wait 2hrs n get a guaranteed drop from both of them
Once this has happened repeat the process, simples

The Cargo bay NOW drops Chris’s book too. The reg one, that heolped Peter you will see a second book) I’ve been getting his book 1 at a time in the swap and that is how I keep the odds going. (Since I finished the picture frame in a few hours. Love the nerds.

Transporter not working…. When I tap on check after crew arrive back from mission my game shuts down. Tried over a dozen times. Now a data error occurs on the load screen. Can’t even load game. Please help me (with the game I mean. I am beyond other help) totally addicted, must play, but can’t. Love the game. Great job. This is the first issue I have had for many months of play. Please help….

What error do you get? Is your game saved to an email or Facebook so you can try an uninstall/reinstall?

Catch 22 on getting dictionaries and chocolate bars as Klingon Chris and Troi seem to better your chances and yet cannot be unlocked without them. The obvious choice is to buy WORF to help but at 260 clams, that ain’t gonna happen.
My main problem at the moment is getting transporter energy. The drop rate is very low. Adding an action by Ferengi Mort to get some helps a little but considering how many of those blue blobs we are going to need to unlock everything, TinyCo may be end to have a rethink….
