Here’s mine for this week:
WHAT THE DEUCE… NOT Always drops. Many times I find items with Uncommon or more drops cause a standstill or slowing in the game. I’d still prefer them to be ALWAYS but if difficulty needed, longer task time.
WHAT THE DEUCE…. “Humans” saying disgusting things to others. So you’re behind a keyboard? Doesn’t mean that common decency and respect should be tossed out window. Makes no sense. Have respect for others and you may get it in return. Pay it FORWARD! Be kind. Be courteous.

Can someone close annoying “Buy coins to get clams” objective? I mean I spent some money on clams which is fine (Although I must agree Tinkerbell was useless and all the extra characters becomes useless after a week which is super annoying!) but after level 40 I am def. not going to spend any money for 3200 coins… And that objective is just there all the time >:/

What the deuce…I feel like i am the only player who plays any of this kind of game without ever spending money. I know that TinyCo won’t do it, but I really wish they’d make a version of games like this where you could get things REASONABLY without having to spend actual money. If you can’t spend actual money, like me, you end up only getting a third, to maybe halfway if you’re lucky, through most events before they end. At worst, I have only gotten through a quarter of an event. I’ll never get Peter Pan because it took so long to get to the point where I could start to try to get him. I thought he would be an instant get because of the wording and the way you had to use the battle resources to get him from the area of the store with all the other resource buildings. Then I find out that you still have to have/make time to somehow get all those buildings to have even a hope of getting Peter Pan. I don’t literally have enough time left before the even ends unless I somehow don’t sleep for a week to be able to get all the buildings by getting enough resources and cursed treasure. I hope one day all these events will come back several times so that I can slowly piece things together, but I feel like I’ll be elderly before it happens.

I spent $40 on clams. Said clams (most of them) were used to try to speed up unlocking pan. For the last 3 days every time I open on my kindle, I get 1 minute of play. Then crash. Yes, I uninstalled/reinstalled. Yes, I put a lot of decks in storage. Yes, yes, yes. What the… deuce. I’m done with this game. Think I can get a refund or coins back from Amazon?

Are you able to turn on the low graphics option in the settings? Force close other apps on your Kindle before starting up family guy?

Side note… Lots of those kindles have very very very limited space on them. No room to extend or add more gb. Most… the Basics take up majority of internal memory… like 90% of it. Leaving apps hardly nothing to work with. I tried Family Guy on a 8gb kindle… always ran out of space. I stick to higher capacity devices now. 32gb and up. Sorry it didn’t work for you. This game and other we write on are HUGE in needing space and memory. Low capacity devices just can’t handle them. If you’ve tried it all, and still no luck… All I can suggest is contact TinyCo and/or your App Market if that’s route you wanna go.

Yeah I think there is some truth to the storage capacity being important. I have an “iPhone 6 – 64Gb” and also an “iPhone 6+ 16Gb”… I use the 64gb as my primary phone, but use the 6+ at my studio with wifi because I like the bigger screen. In theory they should be equally powerful. They have the exact same stats as far as processors and whatnot, but both Quest For Stuff and Tapped Out constantly crash on the 16gb and almost never on the 64gb. And the 16gb has 8gb free with almost nothing on it except these two games.
It seems odd that they would perform differently, but it is actually a huge difference. Tapped out works pretty well on the 16gb but crashes anytime I try to visit neighbors, I have never successfully visited two neighbors without a crash, and it crashes in my town every 30mins or so. Quest For Stuff rarely makes it 5 minutes without a crash on the 16gb, and when it crashes, I always loose my last few actions at least. It has actually been very upsetting on a few occations where I earned timed items and found out on my next login that it didn’t stick and now the timer is up. So I think there is some truth to the fact that these games require 32gb or more to function properly even if it doesn’t make sense.

So, Rare is super common now?!(whiskey drops from octopi are crazy common)…
Which made my getting TinkBell completely USELESS! I almost want to her put in Tan Lines….even last week you didn’t need her to collect the whiskey🙁

Pleeeeease have TinkerBell drop something helpful!! Like this week’s Bourbon, which are “uncommon” which somehow means extra rare?!?
Ooooo. Or have any other person help with the ridiculously necessary anchors and oars for hitting that big mean stupid strong squid!!

My WTD is how complicated and involved they make these events…I know TinyCo is trying to keep people engaged, but it’s getting really frustrating knowing the only way to keep up is to keep spending clams…now, I spend clams for every event since I’ve started playing, so I will do so if I feel like I’ll get ahead and if I’m enjoying the event…but when I need to purchase X to get more Y which I need for Z, and the only way to get X is to earn Z…sigh…WTD…

I completely agree!! It’s frustrating when you need one thing in huge amounts:wheels from squid, 66 for Davey Jones + another 19 for fancy pants Shamus and yet only 2 characters dropping the anchors and oars?!

It gets easier once you get Seamus since he drops them. Also there are buildings that drop them. I was able to get up through level 4 as a result in the squid battles. I might get Davy Jones after all, am up to 32 wheels out of the 66 needed with about 3.5 days to go. Won’t do much else in phase 4 unless I get Daggermouth.

i unlocked Peter Pan and finished Trawl & Booty Pt 9 but Phase 3 didnt start for me yet ……

Have you checked there isn’t an update in your App Store, version 1.28.5 – you need update for phase 3 to fully unlock

Slightly off topic but ‘what the deuce..’ Looks like I’ve hit the Dance Hall Days pt4 bug,after reading all the problems we’ve had with that task I’d have thought they would’ve fixed it by now 😞
On topic,same as everyone else really,no bourbon or spare parts and as for the giant squid……

Anyone else not seeing spare parts from fishing? I keep getting only fish bones, for a while now.

Ok, I thought I noticed that, but didn’t see any from either color for at least six casts, and hitting two fish each time. It is an uncommon drop too, so,I’ll keep trying with the tan fish. Thanks.

I think you’re just having **** luck Jeff. We probably all have **** luck with one item or another. I always get the Canon balls. And today I got some random thing saying that Peter found treasure for me – 10 free canon balls, ontop of the 7 I already had.
Speaking of rare drops, after testing my patience & after about a month of very explicit language in both English & French, I FINALLY got my last eye needed for Anime Peter!

That is so wierd becouse i got all of my bourbon drops and i never got the building in house of booty, dont need it now. Cannonballs are the only thing slowing me down, they dont drop for me.

I was talking about elfin elixer not burbon, but yes burbon is 2nd hardest to get becouse you need cannonballs witch are rare for me. Wtd

The only major ‘what the deuce’ I have at the moment is with the event and a few things with it. We just instituted the leaderboards, and in the very few days that we do, the folks who only play the game on Facebook have now lost two days of play for the week. That’s a lot of time!
We were treated to 7 cannonballs for what I am pretty sure is a peace offering while they try and get week 3 running, but 7 cannonballs aren’t going to come close for making up for the handicap.
This is a huge problem for the leaderboards, too. Week 3 folks get 3 ships at their disposal, and most of those pirate marks come from the second and third week’s ships. It makes it hard to feel good about the prize results if you don’t make it… especially if it comes close.
And that, Quahog, is what grinds my gears.

If it makes you feel any better- the third ship is idle most of the time due to lack of appropriate bottles…. Peter Pan is juggling two ships since Salty is busy trying to get the bottles.

Okay
1) I have no character quest lines open except the Captain and still no week 3 yet. I have him, 2 pieces of deco, and Daggermouth’s cogs for week 3 and that is it- What the Duce?
2) I am woring on the Captains quest line Crunch Time- I am stuck on part 5 where “hav{ing} Joe Snack on Pirate’s Booty” is not a chore I have availble to me- What the Duce?
3)When I click on “trawl of Booty” I am still on part 9 where it says check back next week. I play on a desk top through FB- there is no way I can update that- What the Duce? I do not play on Mobile as I do not have a compatible mobile device, and I do not play on bluestacks because when I se up my account there it tried to link my account to my husband’s game and not mine.
Please How do I get to week 3?

What the deuce is up with cannonballs, are they epic or what? Seems they are the most needed material to progress through the game, i am averaging 1 out of 6 attempts ever 4 hours. I spent alot of time to get the charming cove, I’ve had it for 2 days and have not gotten a cannonball yet out of at least 10 attempts. Shouldn’t the stuff you grind for in the pirate store be an always drop? it’s like why bother if nothing drops after you get it??????? WHAT THE DEUCE!!!!!!

Success! Pardon the cheesy reference, but, “my issue has resolved itself!” I knew something wasn’t right! I’m just frustrated that I’m now a day or two behind! Oh well, not a big deal. There are much bigger problems in the world than one’s progress in a game, so I’ll try to control myself jj.
To the Mods, Bunny, Russian Tigger etc., feel free to remove my previous post which contains my email address. If it can’t be done, no sweat – it’s not a “genuine” email that I use. I created it as simply a “miscellaneous” account – not an actual personal account of any importance – so it’s not a big deal if it’s in the public domain – I only use it for notifications from random sites I visit.
Now, I’ve got a lot of catching up to do! Here goes yet another $15 that should be going toward the grocery find for a Google Play Card!

Hold up – I’ve never had to do this before (manually update the app), but just for the sake of eliminating the possibility, I checked my Play Store & there was an update for FGTQFS – so let me check this out first, this is likely the solution. I will report back with an update momentarily 🙂

Oh Troy, I put that information in the Phase release post we did days ago, I’m sorry you didn’t see it and have fallen behind. Most of us haven’t moved on massively as bourbon drops are slow, so fingers and toes crossed you catch up.
