Just as we were all getting happy on bourbon TinyCo has brought us back to reality with the third of this events weekly challenge.
As always these aren’t called a challenge for nothing, they can be extremely difficult to complete, especially for freemium players. Many see these as extra fun for premium players but that doesn’t mean a freemium player can’t do it, it just depends where you are in the game and sometimes a lucky guess at what items to stockpile whilst you wait for the challenge to drop. The prizes to date have always been decorations, with the odd building as a Grand Prize, so I wouldn’t advocate spending clams on these, but as always the choice is yours.
Anyway this weeks challenge, if you should choose to accept it, seems to work in tandem with what a lot of us will be doing right now, Brig battles and attacking the Giant Squid, if you manage to complete it you will be rewarded a Line Dancing Monkey.
What do you need to do to complete it, well here’s the deal, you will need to complete the Party Better task which consists of:

Attack the Giant Squid 4 Times
Attack Blackbeard’s Dastardly Division 3 Times
YOU HAVE 48 Hours IN WHICH TO COMPLETE ALL PARTS.

I found this the easiest challenge and completed well within the time. Like others have mentioned I was stockpiling a little in the run up to it triggering, I shall follow the same plan for the next challenge.

I was at Part 8 of Treasure Punting Questline. Maybe need to be at least at Part 7 as that’s where Giant Squid was originally going to appear in our games

Lol I’ve only been able to attack the dastardly division 3 times THIS WEEK, soooo yeah think I’m missing this one XD ah well…

I’ve stockpiled everything, cannonballs, worms, whiskey, bourbon, I could be one of the extreme hoarders way I’ve been going. Well apart from squid stuff, but that will be fine. Famous last words….

My drops improved a little but the uncommon drop has issues every time. Tinker Bell should have had tasks for all the boat resources at least.

I planned well. Stopped attacking the squid after I got the costume so I’ve got a nice stock pile, and I stopped attacking that shop so I’ve got enough booze for 5 attacks.
I also quit attacking octopuses so I’ve got a bunch of cannon balls ready to go.
