UPDATE BUNNY 645PM EST: Two things I am noticing in the game. Players without the ship in the Event Area. Patch is almost complete and should be to the games in a bit, so keep checking back.
Next, players jumping WAY ahead and unlocking Riker before completing “Where No Griffin Has Gone Before” Part 4 to get 35 Tribbles from Quahog. This is creating a conflict due to the jump then sets the Tribble requirement to the Enterprise questline, overwriting the Quahog one. They are aware and seeing how they can better make it so those of us with itchy Fingers (yes, Alissa did this too. 😉 ) can get the Tribble quest in Quahog complete if we jumped ahead. 😉 Patch sent, let us know if the issue is resolved for you. 😉
Also, if you are getting an error mesage… check your app markets first to ensure you have the latest update to the game. 😉

Are you ready to boldly go where no Clammer has gone before?! After weeks of teasing, a few trailer videos and a bunch of sneak peeks…it’s finally time for Star Trek to arrive in Quahog! (Make sure you download the latest Version from your App Market.)

Your first task will be to repair Shuttlecraft which costs $500, and takes 10 seconds..

First the new stuff in the store…
Initially there’s not too much in the store….here’s what’s there when you first start the event:

For this event we’ll be collecting Dilithium Crystals! This is the currency you’ll need to unlock characters/skins and items through out the event.
Tribbles
What are Tribbles?
Here’s the info from TinyCo:
“Tribbles are small, furry creatures that purr when you pet them. Sort of like cats, but less bitey. They also multiply very quickly.
Pop them to collect Dilithium Crystals needed to power the Enterprise!”
So basically Tribbles will help you earn more Crystals. Simply tap on them to clear them! Sounds simple enough right?
Tribbles will also occasionally drop clams! Sweet right?!
UPDATE BUNNY : Here’s my spawn results. 6 Tribbles every hour. 3 yellow, 2 beige, 1 brown. I think your Star fleet Level may impact the amount, but this is what my last 6 spawns showed.
If you tap on one that multiplies, you can spawn up to 5/6 more from it. But tap fast cuz they disappear after a few seconds.
New Characters
William Riker
You’ll find him when you repair the Shuttlecraft. As always you’ll have to get stuff to unlock him…here’s a look at what you’ll need:

You’ll find Geordi once you’ve gotten onto the Enterprise. He’ll be in the engine room…and you’ll need 2 Life Support Energy to unlock the room. Once unlocked you’ll find him. Naturally you’ll have to collect STUFF to unlock him. Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Starfleet Statue- Craft in the Replicator. Requires 2 Life Support Energy and 675 Crystals
5 Rainbows (Uncommon): Earned By: Make Quagmire Update Dating Profile OR Make Mort Snoop on Customers OR Make Chris Lock Himself in Shed

A new costume for Peter (of course you had to have known one was coming!) You’ll be able to start unlocking him once you’ve unlocked William Riker. Collect STUFF to unlock. Here’s what you’ll need:

ALL Characters/Costumes must be unlocked by April 30th in order to keep them in your Quahog. Otherwise they’ll leave with the event on April 30th
Traveling to the Enterprise
You’ll be able to travel back and forth from the Enterprise to Quahog! BUT you can only do this once you unlock William Riker. Once you’ve unlocked him simply tap on the icon in the lower right corner of your screen to travel…
Before you unlock William Riker you’ll see this screen popup:
Once you’ve unlocked Riker and are able to travel you’ll see this message popup from Ollie..
And then you’ll be taken away to the USS Enterprise!
The first time you visit the Enterprise it’ll look like this..
Once you’ve unlocked the ability to board the Enterprise you’ll be able to explore various rooms and areas. Here’s some more info on that…

How do I explore the Enterprise?
Only a small section of the ship will be available for use when you first board the Enterprise. As you explore and repair the ship, you’ll be able to repair the main rooms and customize the Enterprise rooms. You can decide which Enterprise Rooms you want to build and where to build them. (For more info, read “How do Enterprise Rooms work?”)
Some parts of the ship are sectioned into “districts.” In order to access different areas of the Enterprise, you may need to complete certain quests or wait for the next Warp Core upgrade to become available. Each week, you’ll need to collect Life Support Energy to upgrade the Warp Core. More content becomes available with each upgrade.
How do Enterprise Rooms work?
Aboard the Enterprise, you’ll find blank rooms. Players can build a room of their choice in these spaces in order to customize their experience.
Each Enterprise Room requires Dilithium to construct and will take time to finish building. The rooms will generate resources and event experience when you collect from them. They also have a chance of dropping stuff you’ll need throughout the event.
Some Enterprise Rooms can be purchased for clams. If you purchase a premium Enterprise Room you get to keep/reuse it (even if you build something over it).
You’ll receive a deco version of each Enterprise Room you build once the event ends!
We’ll break the rooms down a bit more in another post…
Energy
Energy is pretty critical for this event. It’s going to help you open up various rooms/districts of the Enterprise!
There will be 5 types of energy used for this event:
-Transporter Energy
-Phaser Energy
-Life Support Energy
-Synthesizer Ore
-Dark Matter
Each energy will have it’s own purpose. For Phase 1 we’ll just be using Life Support Energy and Synthesizer Ore…the other types (you guessed it) are for future updates!
Here’s how you can earn Life Support Energy:
–Riker: Think Deeply
–Crew’s Quarters
Here’s how you can earn Synthesizer Ore:
–Get from Super Rad Cargo Bay
-Bonnie: Go to Ladies Night
Replicator
The Replicator is basically where you can craft items and other fun things! Here’s the description from TinyCo:
“The Replicator allows you to craft special Star Trek items and decorations. Each prize requires Dilithium Crystals and other stuff, such as Life Support Energy or Synthesizer Ore. You can earn these by performing character actions, popping Tribbles, and collecting from special buildings.”
From inside the Enterprise you can access the Replicator by clicking on the room in the ship. Here’s what it looks like:

–Tribble Furrier: Building, earns more Crystals

XP and Warp Core
When you complete tasks you’ll be awarded XP (questline tasks). This XP is used to upgrade!
The higher the level the more stuff you’ll unlock! You’ll be able to see your XP level at all times in the bottom right corner of your screen (right next to the transport button):

✨To me, it seems to be just a bit difficult to earn Starfleet XP!!,.,.My XP level bar looks to be only smack-dab in the middle. I’m only getting 1XP point with each Enterprise room I have and I only have 1 event building so far in Quahog and that’s only giving 1 Starfleet XP point also??? And I also know completing quests award you with points, but I’m ALMOST done with all this 1st phase’s questlines and it just seems to be I don’t and will NOT get enough points by next phase On Thursday!!💫

For Strafleet Peter the quest “Recline in the Captains chair” Shows 20 regular coins and 12 regular xp. And not the crystals and Star Trek XP. is anyone else noticing this? I’m using an Android device version 1.7.3

Ok, thanks, just seems illogical to have every other Star Trek costumes Mort and Peter, and all their other “quests” of those costumes produce Starfleet XP and crystals, and have that one produce only regular XP and money. I guess out side of the required main quest that has him on his chair I’ll not be using that ever again

All events have Characters/Costumes so Al’s is required in order to play. District 3 is where Al’s will be unlocked. Once to that point, the Event should kick in.

When you go to Quahog, there is a Transporter pad next to Rikers crashed/now fixed shuttle. It will take you to Inventory for ONLY the Event. Or, you can just go to Inventory the normal way and look for Star Trek Icon.

It seems like life support energy will be used in all of the weeks, since it is necessary to unlock each area. My guess is the syntesizer ore won’t be used for much beyond Ferengi Mort and Lantinum Loans. What do you two think? I’m wondering because I’m trying to figure out whether it would be worth it to build a second Super Rad Cargo Bay.

Are you guys going to have a walk-through for us? I love the comment that Mike1 made this morning. I figured it out, albeit a little late. I am hold off advancing on the ship, but didn’t in Quahog, so they no longer spawn in Quahog. Do you (or anyone else) have any other tips? Have you advance past Part 7? I’m so used to you guys having a walkthrough by now!

Hey gals, had a question since the rooms post isn’t ready yet. Once you have say unlocked starfleet peter, is there any reason to keep the room for his redshirt. Or would it be better to switch to two life support rooms. Do we know if they will have a future use?

Now that I have purhcesed the Tea Building, Ferengi Mort no longer appears as an option to get in the replicator. I was actually nearing the full requirements for him, but with the building being required to move forward, I thought I could hold off. I am not sure if this is a potential glitch or not, but I have contacted TinyCo about it. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Perhaps he will show up later again, but all of the other items are still displaying, including locked prizes. Any suggestions?

Patience people on the DC’s,once we get several characters going they will come faster. That’s the thing, for now you have to focus them on keeping them for the needs.
From what I understand about the tribbles, ,they will stop spanning on the enterprise once Officer and Idiot Pt 7 is done. So I would suggest not completing Part 6, until you have collected enough to clear out the items in the Replicator and filled the rooms on the enterprise.
Also if you haven’t completed Where No Griffin Has Gone Before series, ,then I would stop at part 4 and not let Quagmire Let the Gerbil Loose either, that will keep them spawning in Quahog as well and help speed you up on getting more DC’s.
I would leave both of those story lines in limbo until you’ve cleared out the replicator and filled all of the bay/rooms and you have advanced your warp level to 2.

Mmm that seems illogical as you need tribbles to spawn to collect required dilithium. Is this a glitch TinyCo are fixing? Tribbles aren’t spawning in Quahog for me anymore & I’d be shattered if they stopped on the Enterprise too 😭 thanks for the tip!

I am at an Officer and an Idiot Pt.8 and the Tribbles are still spawning on the Enterprise and I haven’t even bought the Tribble spawning room on the Enterprise yet.

Maybe So. Part 7 and 8 would be automatically done if you wait on part 6 Like i suggested And they wont release warp 2 stuff until a certain date so you will know when to do it.
i am just going by what i was told on my ticket that the tribbles would stop on the enterprise once you finish part 7. They may have changed it since then, but I don’t want to chance it. I just wish they were still spawning for me in Quahog. Lol. I completed that 200 trible quest in 10 hours with them spawning in both places.
Its all up to you though. I am just trying to avoid using clams and make sure i have enough DCs for a good head start on the next phase.
I am already working on the yellow energy to unlock the next part and I only need 4 more green ones to finish mort and the plat building So I hope to have Mort real soon.

I have a question about the difference between the Cargo Bay (CB) and the Super Rad Cargo Bay (SRCB).
Does the SRCB also drop stuff to unlock Geordi so I would only need to build one of them or does the stuff to unlock Geordi only come from the CB?
I’ve searched the entire site and have seen any reference to this yet. I have read that rooms can be changed, which brings me to my next question. If we already have a CB and we want to get the SRCB, is a complete build or can the CB be upgraded?
I’m guessing it’s going to be a complete build, but thought I’d ask before I built it.

Loving this event so far. I am a bit curious exactly how many characters and skins we will get in total over the normal 7 that big events usually give us. I am almost done with Phase 1 just need to craft the last building in the Replicator and finish Geordi’s quest line. I got lucky with Ferengi Mort, I got 15 of the life support from the mystery box and five of the synthesizer ore also. I was thinking about the Transporter and I am guessing it will work like the dates did during the Valentine’s event.

I was lucky that I didn’t get the event currency in the box which is a bit more common than the other stuff. I got everything else out of the box also that could be gotten plus 200 clams back.

Worf might be unlocked with clams instead of stuff. When the warp core upgrades March 26th, many Klingon related items become available, including a temple, statue, and skin for Chris, so Worf might be added then too.

I need someone’s help? My disabled son has made may purchases with my debit card and my credit card. I have contact support and the main Family Guy page for help. No one has anwsered me to help me? Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? He made a lot of purchases?? I’m just in complete shock this had happened!! And for them no to responsed after playing for more than over a year and a half and being a paying customer is just not right! It’s plain out rude and ignorant!! Well…first off they don’t always respond right away, especially since it’s the weekend. You may have to wait until next week. Second, the purchases were still made on your device with your credit card in your game. I understand the situation, but it happens a lot with people and their kids if they don’t have the proper password protection on it. I don’t know that TinyCo would be the best ones to give you a refund. It may be something you have to take up with your Credit Card company and/or the iOS/Google Play/Amazon store.
Remember…just because you didn’t say your son could do it, doesn’t mean they’re unauthorized charges. Like I said it’s coming from your credit card, on your game/your device. It’s not like he took your card on a different device and put them in another game. I understand you’re frustrated but it happens to a lot of players (a lot in this community alone). Try taking it up with your Credit Card Company and honestly ensure that the password option is set for all in app purchases in your app store settings. That’s the best way to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

And like alissa say, its ur card and device. I had a few mistakes where i bought something with clams by accident and tinyco were kind enough to give it back to me…twice. i think its gonna be hard to actually give real currecy refund but give them some time and they will respond back. Also, u cant argue that ur disabled son did it and its not your fault. I have a son like that too and i feel that EVERYTHING he do falls on my head because he doesnt know better and im responsible for him. Now i think that if they do refund u then its very nice of them (also asking them politely would help and tell them u know its ur fault) but if the choose not to then i still think its not their fualt cuz i make sure that i put a hard enough password that theres no chance in hell my son would be able to remember or accidently put it down…..But thats just me.

I can’t build any of the rooms like the cargo bay and stuff if I click on one to Build my screen just looses brightness also I clicked the platform near the spaceship and it brought me to store where I could by Halloween decorations again and Freddy Krueger was available for free thought that was incredibly strange but getting him completed my set and gave me 100 clams but I can’t get anywhere with the Star Trek event being so glitchy

I have gotten 3 red shirts so far from the robatics lab and one from chris in less then 24 hours. So building that is a must.

That works, if it actually gives you anything. I’ve tried over 3+ times with the lab, 3+ times with Chris, making a total of 6+ times trying to get shirts. Doesn’t feel like a “common” drop to me.

I’m really annoyed that Geordi only has 3 actions for rainbows, and they all take 20 hours and the rainbows aren’t a common drop, so you risk waiting 20 hours to get nothing multiple times in a row. Plus, one of the characters is used to get the shirts for Starfleet Peter.

I nearly threw my tablet on the floor like a child after waiting 20 hours for Mort, Quagmire, and Chris to finish then not even drop a single rainbow. TinyCo should have made Engineering easy to unlock so players get hooked for the rest of the event rather than “alienating” us in the first 3 days.

Just a few quick notes on things I’d like to see:
1) I’ve hit an empty pocket with Peter. He’s got nothing to do while his outfit is being built:
Red shirts only have 1 person/way of working on it; thus, Chris @ 4 hour x 8 needed = 32 hours to get Starfleet Peter at minimum. Factor in sleep of 8 hours per day = 48 hours to obtain Peter by normal means. In the meantime, I’m about 10 hours into the 48 hour Trek (pun intended) and don’t have anything for Peter to do for the next 38 hours? Back to Shapoopie I guess (BTW can we please get a clue as to how close we are to completing this achievement? I swear it’s been more than 100 times!)
Would like to see Peter get an additional action to earn DC’s/SXP (Dilithium Crystals/Starfleet XP) for these lulls in activity. Which brings me to my second point…..
2) Except those characters obtaining items for the event, the rest are basically useless (in my case put away unless level grinding to completion). In the past events, some characters (usually premium or new) had 24 tasks that helped with the quest currency. Specific other characters had actions that would tie into the event storyline to do the same. This event, nobody is producing DC’s/SXP?
Would like to see other character involvement to help with the grinding for event currency. Especially anyone associated with the Star Trek franchise such as George Takei and Patrick Stewart.
3) Still have 4 bulldogs and 4 chumbawumbas running around town. As the respawn on them after removing is almost instantaneous, is there a point to having 4? Would think for what they’re used for at lower levels, 2 would suffice.
Would like to see them reduced or gone once they’re no longer quest related (actions could be removed from Stewie and Mayor West).
4) Transporter platform next to Shuttle has no explanation. I understand it connects as a link out to your inventory; however, can’t find a real reason for it to be there. Would understand as a deco but a functional deco?
Would like to see a bit of clarity on this one.
Now what’s being done right!!!!
1) Awesome job on layout and zoning of the Enterprise! I love how the locked characters are presented! Troi stuck under a stack of chairs, a visibly injured Bev Crusher in Sick Bay…. LOL!
2) Tribbles confined to a smaller space. Still up in the air on this one as if they’re free to roam rooms of the ship may become a big pain in the butt with deco/wall blocking; however, so far the Tribbles are awesome and sound cute when you pop them 🙂
3) Maintaining Next Gen while tossing in a throwback aspect with Quagmire and Stewie. Look forward to more throwback Trek references!
4) Trek Event!!!!!! I’ve been a fan of both Trek and Wars since I was a kid, though sad Simpsons got the Wars event first (still crossing fingers for Blue Harvest appearance in our game at some point as I really didn’t care for Simpsons game), glad to see Trek get the awesome Guy treatment for us! Simpsons couldn’t handle Trek so they must’ve Tapped Out! (ok you can groan now 😛 )
I realize this is all info that should be passed on to TinyCo but as there is no official means to get their ear, figured out beloved Addicts forum would be the way to go. Biggest problem so far in this event is that beard trimmers aren’t common, they are rare. Given number of jobs that drop them and the drop rate you can get 2 per day so it will be 3 more days until you can unlock Riker without spending clams. The tricorders that were supposed to be rare were common, got those all inside a day. Considering this is the first step to actually unlocking the event, it shouldn’t take a week to get started, but then intent isn’t clear as things are apparently bugged. As a result and as usual, these events are impossible to get anywhere without spending money, which is a real shame, and have numerous glitches delaying progress that they never make up for. I understand the apparent business model, but it’s severely tilted leaving only crumbs for those who don’t pay up, and personally I think it’s crazy to spend hundreds of dollars on a silly little game that is supposed to be a fun diversion not a money sink. I also find it poor form that they have a time limit they never extend when bugs they didn’t test out in advance stop progress entirely and take up to 5 days to fix, and design flaws that are never addressed in any way.

Is the enterprise going to stay to be used after the event cause if we lose something like this at the end of the event, it’s a waste of effort but if we get to keep the enterprise, this will be the best freemium game ever

Ok to be clear bunny tell me if I understand it correctly. When riker is unlocked and you go to enterprise no tribbles spawn in quahog. So there is no way to tap tribbles in both areas.

Here’s where it gets tricky…. IF you so happen to unlock Riker first BEFORE getting to Part 4 in Quahog… then you’ll see them both locations. Otherwise just one area at a time til you hit those specific questline points.

I’m really stuck now. I got riker and im at “an officer and an idiot part three” i have to powerup engineering an touch the warp core, but everything is locked. And riker won’t drop any life support energy. How do i unlock engineering now.

If you want to stock pile them. They are the main source of Event Currency. Me personally, I am always hesitant on buying them as Event Currency still seems obtainable through game play.

I’ve been curious what they’ll do. GT is probably not involved in this event as it seems to be focused on Next Gen. It will be weird to have Picard and Stewart as different characters. Maybe he’ll only be a skin for people that have Patrick Stewart.

Even though PS and GT played Star Trek characters, they are not “pure” Trek (see their imdb profiles). In the game they are ComicCon celebrities, not the starship crewmembers they famously portrayed. Unless there’s an upcoming storyline involving disruption of the timespace continuum, I wouldn’t expect them to get skins of their Trek personas.

I’m also having the issue of my tribbles not re spawning. Also waited 3 hours, been trying to catch up with my husband as he gets double the dilithium that I do when catching tribbles.

It’s actually on the very post you’re commenting on…under energy it says who drops what. Riker and Bonnie right now are the only two that drop energy. Riker drops Life support

Anyone else having the issue of the tribles not respawning? I am at 3 hours and no tribbles. I shut it off and restarting and still nothing. Please let me know if others are having the same difficulties….

Android users: Download the 1.7.3 update from the Google Play store for bug fixes!
Also, wait for the next spawn round (an hour) as you may have the patch hit in between them.

Every time I try opening the Family Guy Quest game, it starts to load and then I get Consuela error message stating “config empty for id starTrek_crusher_placeholder_charHouse in buildings” and then it fails to load.
I have not been able to open the game in 3 days bc of this error and my app is fully updated.
Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, the fix was to make sure you have the update installed. Check your app market, restart device if necessary, and if all else fails…. if your game is saved to an email or Facebook uninstall/reinstall and load your game back from the save.
