I’m loving this event. It is so much more ambitious than all the others. Kudos to tinyco on this one. Question; I thought I saw this somewhere before but Ferengi Mort also disappeared from my replicator completely. I had just gotten the final cube(?) necessary to craft him; went to the enterprise; poof… not there. Did I miss something? It said special item but I didn’t see any kinda timer or anything. Curious…
Anyhoo, I check in here like 5 times a day to read the threads. Ya’ll are so helpful and such a breath of fresh air, I can’t even begin to tell u. Thx & rock on…

If you are creating another Character Costume in Al’s he will go until that is done so there won’t be a conflict of two Costumes attempting to be made. Once you tap on the checkmark at Al’s and finish that Costume, he will return. 😉

Bunny… When will I ever learn? Three times now, while popping tribbles, I overzealously TAPTAPTAPPED way too fast, causing me to miss the dialogue pop up screens. Is there a place where I might be able to view screencaps of these? I so enjoy them, and whenever my flying finger flicks far too fast, I wanna fcream! Any advice, (besides, of course, “slow the f down!”), would be great!
(By the way, this is my first time posting, but I read this blog ALLLL the time, and want to thank you for all the hard work you put into it! So much great and useful information, I would be lost without all the help I get from this site!)

Awww well glad you enjoy our silly lil site. We have been trying different ways to get Screen shots here. Dialog itself is difficult due to its Mature Content. Pics take up too much of our site memory and can cause issues. Still a work in progress. Hang in there. 😉

The noise the Tribble makes drives one of my dogs wacky….but it is hilarious watching him trying to figure out what is that noise!!😄

I don’t have a complaint, It’s really more of a question. Do Tribble spawn in Quahog AND on the Enterprise once you’ve unlocked William Riker? I have only had them spawning on the ship until just a few moments ago and I found ONE tribble in Quahog.

Tribbles will ONLY spawn in Enterprise once you get Riker up there. If you found one, probably a leftover. LOl.

I received an award at work today in the form of a gift card and some personalized goodies. I am so happy especially because 90% of the time with this job, I feel over-worked and under-paid. It was great to get some recognition but at that same time, I was embarrassed, because they had to make a big deal of it in front of other employees. Grrr that’s the worst. It’s like, can’t you just slip it to me on the side.
As far as our game, I have been playing since it first launched, and this is my favorite event so far! I want one of those launch t-shirts that was mentioned during the live Q&A with Matt. How do we get one of those?

I wish that they would remove things from the replicator after you have onr. I went in to build fringing and forgot to touch his box, so I got another Earl Gray Tea building and I did not want 2 of them!!

Why did they have to make those stupid things we have to tap so small. I have not even unlocked the first character yet since I can never see any in my town so I can’t get crystals. This game has gone down hill. That last event was the worse event ever and they have not improved. Why does Peter need two tasks to drop the same item. Give it to someone else spread it around. the characters that drop items should be the ones not in the story plot. Otherwise you won’t unlock all the prizes like in the last event. You have to choose between doing the story to unlock next stage or repeat same job 20 times to unlock characters and fall behind. Just a general rant on my feelings with this game. Can’t truly judge this event since I can’t get the enterprise. I have spent plenty of money on this game so don’t want to quit and uninstall as I feel I will be wasting my money then, but I don’t think I will buy clams again. The game is just not that fun for me anymore.

Here are the three graphic errors I’ve noted from this event:
1. The Earl Grey’s Hawt Tea building reverses the text in one view.
2. Mort’s Casino is listed as Quark’s.
3. On the FaceSpace page, the silhouette for Klingon Meg is actually Ferengi Mort.

In keeping with the current theme, I share a story. Many moons ago, I adopted a kitten. She was a small little ball of fur. Couldn’t even see her eyes. If not for the tail, you couldn’t tell the front from the back. Naturally, her name was Tribble. But, to show that I have no favoritism, the 2 felines currently running the house are Yoda and Obi-Wan. LLAP and may the force be with you.

Ugh .. these 20 hour tasks for rainbows are a killer. Got quagmire, mort, and chris doing task for them and only got 1 today. Now another 20 hours to wait. These long tasks turn uncommon drops into rares.

Hey guys! Have y’all every thought of creating a page for moveable decorations (ex. stewie’s festive firetruck, mall santa, elf, reindeer, etc.) kind of like y’all have for characters and costumes? This would really help those who keep track of how many there are, and I can’t seem to find a list of these anywhere online.

That is because they are new to the game. So not that many to have a need to isolate them. Their info is within the Events they were dropped for now.

How come the star trek event stops getting the crystals needed for ryker after the quest part four with no way to get more crystals? Its the only part I’ve need three days with no spawns and it even says the spawns stop there with no other way bar clams.

I have an idea about what they can do with the rooms in the Enterprise at the end of the event. I was disappointed that the theater and cafe from the Valentine’s event just became decorations at the end, even though they look like and should have been buildings. I think they could take all the rooms and turn them into one big building that we could put into our towns. I think making it be the Starfleet Academy would be cool (I don’t know that much about Star Trek so if anyone else has an idea that would be better feel free to comment).
It could just be one building that earns a lot of coins and exp, incorporating all the rooms. Or, they could make it a building you could go into like the Enterprise. This way we get to keep our rooms and still have another place to go into, since they said the Enterprise would not be staying. I know this would be a lot of work to incorporate, but it would be really cool and a lot better than just having the decorations of the rooms.

How can you move around your rooms on the Enterprises…I go to change and it wants you to pay crystals again…I find it hard to believe once you place a room it’s permanent. Thanks if anyone knows.

If you own it, it should say “owned 1” under it and you just wait for it to rebuild. If you are being charged again, let them know.

It’s odd to me that “we” have all of these extra characters that were purchased and are essentially useless. You would think that at least they would give patrick Stewart a task….. just saying

So I still have yet to get get the captain for the simple reason brown tribbles have stopped spawning completely in my town for 3 days now! I’m short 47 lithium and I have no chance to advance in the game I don’t want to spend my clams on something because of a glitch.

Once noticed that I got some drops for Data in Quahog, the kids book and visors but when I go back to the enterprise the tally still remains at zero when I click on Data. Is this happening to anyone else? Thanks.

Hi Cole, not happening to me.. so I would definitely reach out to tinyCo (and do all of the things bunny and alissa would recommend.. Uninstall and reinstall the game etc.. just make sure the game is connected to your facebook or email). I havnt been able to collect a single rainbow. Sent everyone on the task twice and havnt received one. It’s a 20 hour task.. so 40 hours and no rainbows for me 😨yuck! Good luck with getting your collected items to count!

I was cycling through the rooms that will be available later. McBurgertown Outpost is the last one, but it has the funniest descriptor.
‘Each burger is made from Grade ‘A’ Gorn, cooked to it’s fullest so you don’t get Gorneria.’
I thought I would wake up the whole neighbourhood! I couldn’t stop laughing.

Well it was a fun and rough week. The Griffin’s and friends and all their shenanigans are taking up a LOT of my time. I’m in the middle of Tom Tucker’s missions, mayor West’s missions and the Star Trek event. However since most of the character’s actions do not intertwine and thus interfere with one another, then I’m actually able to advance on all three fronts. I really wish we could already advance to level two core, but it’s like you said. The’re moving the pace of this space quest in small calculated increments. Thanks to your “Add Friends” blog, I’ve been able to have a few more neighbors and some of their Quahogs are quite cool. I’ve seen some really beautiful and interesting buildings, characters and decorations that I wish I could get a chance to put in my town. Especially that Quahog Cannery building which got away from me for lack of knowledge and experience. See, I was just starting to play this game back during that special limited time offer in which it was offered. My plea to TinyCo would be for them to have more limited time events like that more often. I can only see that as a win/win situation for us and them. I also never had a fair opportunity at getting the Human Rupert character. It is the only character I’m missing from that collection and that is also keeping me from 100 clams. So I also wish TinyCo would eventually give everyone who hasn’t had a shot at that character, an opportunity to finally add it to their Quahog repertoire. Thanx Manny M.

You know what grinds m y gears … it seems I have been having Riker stroke his beard every 2 hours since time began … and for an “uncommon” I have yet to have a life support cube drop … perhaps it is on the site some were and I misses it but … does any know (or theorize) what the odds are for the different drop rates? (I.e. rare, common, and others) … this probably isn’t the riget thread for this but I thought I would get the ball rolling …

I’m just really, really, really happy that Kirk is going to be available! I’m still hoping for Spock to show up eventually too, but Kirk definitely being in game makes the event 100 times better already.

And tge robotics building. . I got all the red shirts in about a 24 hour period so don’t stress it. Just build the robotic lab in the enterprise.

You can get Red Shirts from building the Robotics Lab. You’ll need to unlock Engineering first, but then it’s pretty much an always drop.

As you unlock more of the Enterprise, you can have more places to put them. But yes, lots of drop options on each one.

You also get red shirts from one of the rooms, Crew Cabin, I think. And as you can build the same room multiple times, resources depending of course, you could be squeezing out enough shirts in no time. I just wish there were more characters for Geordi’s tasks, or at least that they were shorter time frames. 20 hours for a ‘rare’ that may or may not show seems a wee bit steep.

Hey there addicts, It’s been awhile since I posted. I’ve been a background reader for a while.
Had some personal issues to deal with. I went in for surgery Wednesday march 18 and am home for two weeks recovering. It’s been brutal recovery as the pain meds I was sent home with SUCK. Our lovely health system in Canada also SUCK. I mean send someone home same day as surgery. Completely insane. At least the surgeon and his staff were really good and surgery went well. But they have to abide by health care rules. So I was literally sent home less then 5 hours after the surgery.
That’s been my wonderful week. My kids came home yesterday as they have been staying with grandparents for a few days. I missed them dearly :-).
I was home in time for the family guy Star Trek event to start. What a cool event. I just finished creating peters outfit. He’s sitting in his captains chair now. I have a captains chair too, it’s a pile of 8 pillows propped up in bed so I can sleep … Lol.

Just got a free Red Shirt Doom Room. I clicked on crew quarters, was short 5 dilithium, clicked OK, and now I’ve got a room w/ three redshirts in torpedo caskets and down 5 clams. Has this happened to anyone else?

I had this glitch happen in one of my games without spending clams. After starting to create an available room, it immediately switched to the Red Shirt Doom Room with a 10 minute build time. It happened again where another room I tried to build switched to the Rec Room with a 10 minute build.
Neither room drops items at this point, but as long as it doesn’t cause a crash later, I’m happy for receiving the 10 Dilithium and 5 XP per hour. It’s brought me to just shy of level 2.
I’m not going to complain to TinyCo about this.

I’m wondering if there is a marijuana grow op across the street from me!! We opened there hydro bill by mistake and it was 5x more than ours monthly!! LOL

Could be they are using space heaters. Those wretched things drain power like a kid slurping spaghetti! I had to use space heaters one winter because our furnace calved out on the coldest day of the year, it was almost a week to get someone in to repair it. My house is a HUGE 5 Bedroom character with high ceilings and lathe and plaster construction. That power bill was over 200 dollars when all was said and done. That was about 12 years ago. So it would be closer to 400 now.

They need to keep the enterprise in fg or spin it off to its own Star Trek themed game. This is by far the coolest event yet. In my humble opinion 🙂

I had the same thought. TinyMatt said that it’d increase server load which really means that the extra expense would not be worthwhile without significant extra revenue.
I’d pay for a Family Guy Star Trek game with multiple decks for additional rooms. I periodically search for a Theme Hospital clone and can imagine a deck for Dr. Crusher to treat
