Hello there Clammers!
The Blimp is FINALLY ready to travel! With the introduction of the Blimp District, The Fine Arts District, TinyCo has finally unlocked the keys to the blimp and time travel is upon us! Well…upon Stewie and Vinny, we just get to watch the blimp disappear and come back. Anywho…a new district means all new questlines!
Once again this District walkthrough is structured by questline (Note: Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title. For example Away We Go Pt. 1, Pt. 2 etc). This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do. Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once. You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.
Olivia is the only character released in this District, but unlocking her will take a LOT of patience…and a ton of Time Travel! So be patient in unlocking that Plutonium…..

And with that the Fine Arts District is complete!
What do YOU think of the Fine Arts District? How are the quests working out for you? Are you ready for Time Travel? Was the Blimp worth the wait? Sound off in the comments below, you know we LOVE hearing from you!
13 Plutonium per trip is fine, but there should be more than just three characters; Carter, Tom and Mayor West who gather this item. It seems as though the drop rate is pretty low, if not non existent. I have sent each of them out three times and they have only brought back 1 Plutonium.
Hey TinyCo….hope you are reading this one:
Have a few more people drop this item so it doesn’t become so drawn out. How about adding something for these other “useless” people we have floating around the town; Strongmen, Freddy or even the people we worked hard to get from American Dad. If there is anyone that should be able to locate and get Plutonium, it would be Roger or Stan. How about adding something for them to do instead of me placing them on 1 day tasks to keep them out of my hair.

I am currently on this task: Away We Go Pt. 2
I have sent Stewie to do the task:Restore Plutonium. Does this portion of the quest have to be completed before I can do: Activate Stewie’s Blimp? I know I got the build blimp quest completed from way back when, but now when I click on the blimp it says something like, need plutonium to be filled.
LikeLike
You need Stewie to finish restoring the Plutonium before it can activate… so wait til the first task is done.

Are we supposed to earn a prize each time the blump flies? I have flown mine 5 times and only son 2 things. The last flight my blump totally disappeared as did the plutonium for the characters.
Had anyone else experienced that?

As you go through the questline AFTER it returns AND complete the questline for that trip… you will see the lil icon of the item pop up with the dialog at completion. You then need to locate the object in your inventory and place it.

You need to clear all 3

The game does seem to want you to clear the block by the water. I had my workers clearing both the right block and the left block along the water. When done, I tapped the right block first, and nothing happened. Only when I tapped the left block did the questline advance.
Been having the three characters do tasks for plutonium for a day and a half. Not a single drop in 12 or 15 tries! I get that districts are supposed to be slow, but this is getting beyond frustrating. 😁😁
LikeLike
That seems a very odd payout. Mine dropped pretty frequently. Maybe 3 at the most between a drop, but it seemed more like 1 or two if not right away. Try restarting your device and see if it helps.

I’ll give it a try. I did uninstall and reinstall the game. So far, Mayor West has dropped two, but nothing from Carter or Tom so far.

Same thing as other ppl cleared 2 right blocks and didn’t progress in questline it will be done by tmrw 9:30 est so not a huge deal jus heads up to clear the patch next to water first I guess

Do I need to unlock? In order to progress in this district there has been so many back to back to back events I have fallen behind on everything hell I haven’t even been able to rebuild my town mostly everything is in storage this is ridiculous slow down on the money grabbing events tinyco.

Okay I’m just saying that it’s the little things that would widely improve the game. Like being able to actually put the island fully in the water like an island is supposed to be. Or being able to park the cars in parking lots or on the side of the roads not in backyards. Just the little things like that could widely improve this game and more space 80% of my stuff is in my storage because I have no room for it in my town. Does anyone know if these things are even being addressed?
LikeLike
I agree. Lots of lil stuff that I would like to see. Are they looking into it? Of course they are. 😉
Main reason roads are for People is a coding thing. Hard to overlap coding on top of something that a hundred lil characters wander, so to go another route myself as well as other players is by recommending plots of pavement or dirt that you can place cars on to give appearance of a driveway or road. 😉

With all these characters, we have only THREE earning plutonium. I’m this close to uninstalling. This is a very boring app.

Not sure how a slower side of the game ruins the ENTIRE game. Just seems silly to me.
It is intentional. Think of it this way, if they stuff all the MAIN characters with drops… it will add to those already dropping for every single other District (including Brewery) then when the New Event hits… even MORE drops to add to same Character. I myself prefer them to do it this way. Keep it to ones that are not used that often. Carter’s is only 4 hrs. Not that long at all. A District is SUPPOSE to be slow. If all we did was spend all day every day every minute every second in the game, I would go mad. I need a break now and then or I will snap. My thoughts. 😉

I’ve currently got my two workers clearing the 1st 2 patches of land in the fine arts district, n while that is happening carter n mayor west just both dropped plutonium cases……… But as I’ve not found Olivia yet I can’t c the plutonium anywhere, will I still have that or should I have waited?

Pleased that this district will take some time as I expect TinyCo will be starting a new event within the next week or two. I just hope that the new event does not require anything from the three plutonium case characters. I am also especially happy that Vinny is getting more tasks. I am tired of him having a maximum of 6 hours (when Bruce is doing something else).

Do you have to have completed all the other districts before this one appears? I am just now finishing up getting Connie, and I do not see the fine arts district, even though I see the burning husks of 8,9 and 10.

ugh, the plutonium drop rates with West, Carter, and Tom are dismally rare….seems like they ought to add a few more characters to collect those rare drops instead of just 3, 2 of which are 8 hour tasks. 13 for each time travel trip? That will take literally months.

It may seem slow, but that is how many Districts are set. They are meant to be the “down time” and slower in between big fast paced events. 🙂

I won’t mind if the next even has characters from this(tom, carter and mayor west) that are involved, but i would be upset if its the same task. Nothing worse then sending someone on a mission and getting stuff that you dont need for the timed part. Happened to me with King Tut or whatever at the new year event, they kept dropping stuff for the brewery instead if i remember right.

Firstly thanks for the site, found it not too long ago and its been really helpful.
Liking the new district and loving that all the buildings so far have been instant builds. I’m not bothered by the lack of people to get plutonium, even got my first deop, but I am hoping they won’t also be relied on for whatever our next event is though.
I am bothered by the fact that is seems It had ro be a specific block of land to clear in dance hall days part 1. I chose the right hand two blocks in the new district to clear, waited my 20hrs and then nothing. Am now having to wait another 20hrs to clear the last block beside the sea. Wish it had been more specific or only let us clear that one first so the time wasn’t wasted.
LikeLike
Do you have to clear all 3 blocks to continue. I’ve cleared two blocks of land and built Olivia’s house, but the dance hall days pt. 1 task won’t progress.

Just 1 block in the new District…if it’s still stalled, I’d contact TinyCo and let them know what happened. As long as you clear 1 block in the Fine Arts District & build her house it should progress…

I just cleared one closest to the water and Dance Hall days kicked off without a hitch. I am now clearing the other pieces of land because I don’t have to waste time building houses 😃
I only have two plutonium packs, so far, but it’s all good. I am enjoying this because I am recovering the cash spent quicker and it’s not such a strain on my ‘budget.’

I don’t known if anyone noticed, but the block closest to the water actually costs less than the other 2. I was about to unlock the one furthest from the water but checked the others just out of curiosity. Glad I did since it seems that so many people are having problems.
I hope that was a useful observation for everyone!

I had no issue getting my men to clear the land in the district. Just waiting now for them to be done so the quest lines can begin. I have Tom, Carter and West all doing their tasks for plutonium and So far only one has dropped. It will be arduous, but worth it, to get the 13 required for that first warp.
This is so much fun! The buildings are instant build, no waiting. I like that I can free up my builders to clear land while I run tasks. This is nice.
The way I look at it, it isn’t going to take any longer than it did to get all of the items required to open Funland, clear the block, repair Funland and get ALL of the requirements necessary to unlock Stewie. We all lived through that, right? And ‘OOOO those plutonium rods, OOOO those bandanas, and OOO those eyeballs!’
Remember that? Seriously, if we could play the district immediately this game would be dull and boring.
Love the challenge, TinyCo rocks my TinyQua!

The drop rates are tough and I get that districts need to be dragged out to keep you busy between events. Believe me I’ve got everything unlocked and after V-Day I was a little bored, but in the past they’ve had easier filler items that utilize more characters. Like maybe for time travel they also need 10 of Marty’s caps (After all Back to the Future goes to 2015 so it makes sense) and maybe 20 fuzzy dice for the mirror of the blimp. Involve several other characters. The rare rods will tie everyone up, but at least you’ll feel like you’re accomplishing something along the way. This is just as boring as nothing at all almost.

So to get Olivia… You need 52 plutonium at a drop rate between 3 characters at 1 every 2 to 3 days… So I should get her by…. CHRISTMAS 😪

So, we don’t get Olivia for a while. We thought we’d never get through other districts, either. Especially getting Stewie. My daughter just unlocked him and she’s been playing longer than I! Her last two plutonium rods dropped on Monday. Now, she’s excited about her Quahog, again.
And who knows why one account moves faster, collects more or seems to be ahead?
I’ll bet when it’s all said and done she will have Olivia before I will. It’s just the way it goes.

It’s a good thing she’s not on a timer.

Am I the only person who is happy that there are only 3 people getting plutonium?
This district is long and that means it will take time to complete everything. Events will eventually run concurrent with this and I do not want everyone having multiple drops on timed events/items.
Although I probably would not buy a premium building/person, I am wondering why one has not been offered to help with collecting plutonium, as has been offered with past districts.

You know I never thought of it that way, but you’re right, that actually makes a lot more sense. Especially if they have anything planned for St. Patrick’s Day or Easter.

I like the way this is looking – I prefer not to feel bombarded with a zillion tasks every time there is a new district or event. Plus, it looks like the bulk of the storyline utilizes characters that are usually overlooked, freeing up the typical ‘collectors’ should an event drop. Heck, I might even get to see Vinny, Tom Tucker and Mayor West finally maxed out by the time this one is over (stupid 25’s – hey TinyCo: Please, never do that again!).
Now I know that a lot of folks are chomping at the bit (and honking out clams like they’re M&M’s) to blast through everything, but there are plenty of us who enjoy not feeling rushed or overwhelmed by something that is supposed to be fun. I think this district might actually pull it off this time…
I am also looking forward to the land expansion – I needed more space for some of the taller buildings. I figure that the shoreline would be great for this since the tall ones would only obscure the unusable water behind it (instead of valuable real estate when placed in the main area). Of course, this type of land strategy would not be necessary if TC would just settle down with the tallboys (hint, hint).
At any rate, I know that there will still be plenty of people screaming out for more land no matter how much is released (most likely Clammers who buy every single item available). But, in my opinion, 1500+ new squares is a decent amount for the price (certainly a better value than the optional expansions to the northwest). And besides, I personally think that there is enough room for all the buildings that are actually required for tasks – anything beyond that is purely cosmetic…
So I want to thank you ladies for your time and efforts in allowing us to peek at what lies ahead – I feel like I can finally slow down for a minute and catch my breath before the next event hurls us into adrenaline mode again. Keep up the great work!

I only have one of each item in my Quahog and NO Chumba Wambas gambolling about. I ‘smurfed’ them off, one by one, during the Valentine’s event. They have disappeared from my Quahog, but my Brewery is still active. So it can be done with the minimum.

Maybe it’s because I have all the stuff necessary to craft the items if I want?

Probably. That seems logical. 🙂

Does anyone know who can get plutonium? I’ve only found 3 characters: Carter P., Mayor West, and Tom Tucker. 4, 6, and 8 hour quest respectively.

Lol. A LOT of info. It has to be separated in a post or people eyes will go buggy going through all this PLUS a full rundown. 😉

No spawning we had to wait on. 😉

Plus Vday events were released late on Thursdays…and usually we take the weekend off. So those were up on Monday morning 😉 (usually after I had the chance to finish playing that phase…with spawn rates etc holding things up)

I cannot clear any blocks in the Art District, even though my task tells me to. It’s just showing the clouded area, and that I need to unlock nearby blocks to start this district….all my land is cleared and unlocked except the art district! Anyone else having this issue??

Where are you in the questline? Did you go to it VIA the questline prompting you to? There is specific dialog that shows and says to go there… at that time it turns from clouds to more visable and you see the hammers to unlock it.

In the quest line i built Olivia’s house and it says to clear a block. When I click on it, it says I need to unlock near by district, which doesn’t apply. Excuse I already cleared it all

What quests do you have open in your task menu? Do you still see the one to unlock the land? If so, use that to go to the District, then TAP on the District to get the pop up and UNLOCK it. Then the clouds will clear and turn into more sheer area with Hammers. 😉

It was acting weird w me too. It told me to clear land and I forgot to “unlock” the district by tapping on it.. LOL so I guess maybe it was me! If you’re promted to clear, tap on it to see the “Fine Arts District” w Olivia in the box and “unlock” the district. Then it will clear up some and you can clear the land..

I had a similar issue. I found that clicking in the northeastern corner of the smoke allowed me to see the three quadrants to begin clearing them. I hope this works for you as well.
