Hey there Minions!
The time has FINALLY arrived for some things from the past to come to the future. Or is it the other way around? I forget. Well the Fine Arts District is here and with it a LOT of cool stuff. As usual we will be breaking down all the details once we play through it live in our games, so keep checking back to this post as we update it will all the information. 
FINALLY we can get on with the Blimp! HERE WE GO!!!
First off, iOS and Android both received updates not long after the Event to clear the Event from their game. So make sure your App Market has the latest update. And update your game from the App Market if you have not. (Seeing 1.6.9 for Android and 1.6.8 for iOS.)
To unlock the Fine Arts District, you will need to complete the quest “The Wild Wild Mayor West Pt. 5” (From District 9) & then start off on the new questline “The Great Plutonium Heist” & “Away We Go”.

NEW LAND!!
There will be 3 new patches of land you will need to clear. YAY FOR SOME MORE LAND! They will run you $18,000/ $20,000/$22,000. And each patch will take 20hrs to clear. New Land will not unlock until you’ve completed “The Great Plutonium Heist” & “Away We Go”. So basically after you’ve restored the plutonium to the Blimp.

Balloon Mania- $5,000, 12hr Build. Earns $60, 40xp. Ok I know this has been around for a while. But it’s required for this one…
Olivia’s House- $24,000. Earns $45, 30xp/8hrs (Instant Build)
Olivia’s Playhouse- $20,000. Earns $45, 30xp/8hrs (Instant Build)
Quahog School of the Performing Arts- $10,000. Earns $30,20xp/4hrs (Instant Build)

New Character
Olivia has arrived in Quahog! (but won’t appear to start getting items for until you’ve cleared the land and completely unlocked the Fine Arts District)
To unlock Olivia you’ll need to make Stewie Time Travel and bring back STUFF from his travels! Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Saloon- 13 Plutonium needed to travel for this (When you get this it’ll go to your inventory. You’ll have to pull it from there to get it for Olivia. It’ll earn $140, 90xp/16hrs)
1 Dancing Snake- 13 Plutonium needed to travel for this. (When you get this it’ll go to your inventory. You’ll have t0 pull it from there to get it for Olivia.)
1 Venus Fly Traposaurus- 13 Plutonium needed to travel for this. (When you get this it’ll go to your inventory. You’ll have to pull it from there to get it for Olivia.)
1 Acrapolis- 13 Plutonium needed to travel for this. (When you get this it’ll go to your inventory. You’ll have to pull it from there to get it for Olivia. Once placed earns $60, 40xp/12hrs)
Time Travel
To time travel you’ll need Plutonium and LOTS of it! You can get Plutonium from other characters…however Plutonium is a rare drop so it may take a while to get it all! Here’s a list of who drops Plutonium:
Carter- Mistreat Minimum Wage Employees (4hrs)
Mayor West- Have a Screaming Contest (6hrs)
Tom Tucker- Find Spare Keys (8hrs)

A Couple of Notes
-You will have to Time Travel 5 times. Each time you Time Travel you’ll need 13 Plutonium
– After you’ve completed Time Traveling the Blimp will disappear from Quahog. Here’s the note from TinyCo on that:
“Once you complete the quest “Ye Olde Blimp Trippe, Pt 4″ the blimp will disappear from the water. We may bring it back in the future though. Stay tuned!”
-Part 3 of Walk Like an Egyptian right now requires the Egyptian Bath House. This was something that was available during Kingdom of the Full Moon. I have it from that, not sure if TinyCo brought it back…since I already have it. However, we’re checking with TinyCo to see if this is intentional or accidental. Or what the case is. Currently you cannot progress to another quest unless you have the Bath House. As soon as we get an answer from them we’ll pass it along to you.
UPDATE BUNNY: We are getting reports of Players reaching this point getting the option to purchase the Egyptian Bath House for $4000. Let us know if you see different. I will attach an image of the one from Kingdom of Full Moon Event, please let us know if your version varies. (Screenshots are always welcome… familyguyaddicts@gmail.com)

Oh boy. This is going to get crazy for me soon. I am on WWMW 4 right now making those cologne bottles and working on releasing the mayor. I wil have to juggle the Pawtucket and Fine Arts districts at the same time. Good thing they are districts and i can take my time.

I’m on the 16 hour Stewie task currently but from what I’m seeing in the walk through there are only 3 characters that drop rare plutonium. You need 13 for each thing and there are 4 things so that’s 52. I know it’s a district and not timed but that seemed pretty crazy to me and will take forever.

Nope. Just the 3. It may be due to it is a District, the intention is to take time, and they are using Characters outside the norm which tells me they are leaving them open for upcoming stuff. 😉

Mhmm. It does seem like it is going to take forever to gather all the plutonium needed. I figure, most of us are going to be working on this district for a long, long time. On the bright side at least, there will always be something to strive for, or a challenge that still awaits…

I dont think its fair to only have 3 characters trying for plutonium,when its rare and we need 13. Plus so not fair that Tinyco is reusing buildings people already have. That gives some ppl the ability to finish quicker. Thus is gonna take forever!

It’s only the bathhouse for a task…you still have to get the other item. So it’s not finishing any quicker. Hopefully the bathhouse will be resolved today 🙂

Keep in mind it’s just a district and not an event. When the next event hits you might be glad the district is only tying up 3 character tasks.

Nothing to do now in my game now but wait while stewie fingerprints his battle plan…. At least I kno not to send Brian, mayor west or vinny on 24hr tasks as they’ll b needed in the nxt part of the questine! Thanks 2 this wonderful site

The thing is I’m stuck in district 9 due to lack of space.and I don’t wanna start storing my buildings in order to progress.I was hoping TinyCo would add more land like they did before on the left end side of our Quahogs.so I guess all I can do is collect coins in case they release some soon

Land ONLY comes with District releases, so if you are intentionally NOT progressing to unlock it… you are gonna wait a VERY long time.

Consider me quite unimpressed. The game still frequently exits spontaneously on my tablet and moto g, losing quite a lot actions performed before the crash and is almost unbearably slow on my Nexus 4. Only three regular and no premium characters to collect rare plutonium? All in all: meh.

I swear that the “The Great Plutonium Heist” quests I have done before. I know its been a while since the district actually came out but does anyone else remember them? I even remember the dialogue in the cutscenes.
I mean the game spawned 3 dogs specifically so you can finish one of them (thank god those tasks were like 10 seconds) cause the original dogs had been cleared forever ago. And Ive sent stewie to make plans before as well and mayor west to shoot cats, and I bet I will have done the 4th one as well. Wonder why they are makin us repeat them instead of just moving on.
I wish I saw some of these posts earlier today or I would have sent Stewie already, but since I didnt its a 16 hour wait for me lol.

Okay, so I was as work and snuck on my phone in the bathroom and checked the site on a whim and saw this post about the update. And I got so excited because I had literally just been told that I could leave work and hour early so I was gonna be able to get a start on this sooner than I thought!

It is the weekend. Only “skeleton” crew so to speak. Main support should be back Monday.
I’m sure they’re well aware of it as we reported it too. As I said in other comments…tasks usually take an update to remove. An app market Update. That takes a bit more time as they gotta get all the approvals from app markets too before a push.
We will see what they do. No worries. They’re pretty aware of stuff like that and steps to resolve it. Some things just take longer on tech side than others. 🙂

I think that the only way to fully clear it is to give all players that played during the romancing the clam event each cupid and his bench and let us get to the end of the questline getting coins instead of valentines cards

hopefully it’s not gonna be mandatory to have that Egyptian Bath House to move on because I don’t have it at all I wasn’t playing the game during Kingdom of the Full Moon, BUT I haven’t gotten to the Walk Like An Egyptian questline yet…I’ll keep notice if the bath house DOES end up coming back in the store once I get to that part tho..
regardless, if it doesn’t come back then people who haven’t played that certain event are gonna be like OMG TINYCO., YOU BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH…lmao!! CERTAINLY and SERIOUSLY all heck is gonna break loose haahaa ❤ 😉

I love those new clam characters, but I’m not paying for them being stationary, animated or not. Had they been roaming decos (like Kool-Aid mans GF) I’d most certainly would have gotten them.

If you started Gold Suit Peter in an iOS, it will carry to Android but you won’t be able to get the golden pool til you go back to an iOS device.

And you can’t collect drop items for Gold Suit Peter on android after you place the pool either, that also must be done on iOS. I have the pool placed, but I’m stuck on not being able to collect items for the outfit. 😦

After all of the comments about useless characters, it’s pretty funny that only 3 earn plutonium, haha. It seems that the more helpful option would have been to have ALL characters have like 12 hour tasks that earn plutonium, but up the needed amount for each trip to be like 40. Or even make each subsequent trip cost a few more or something. Either way, happy for something to do again.

There’s two kinds. The Rods And the case. Rods help in District 9. Case helps Blimp in Fine Arts

Thanks goodness it’s here. I finished the Valentines event two days before it ended. Nice to get working on the plutonium again. Hey, is it a coincidence that my ring tones changed to default soon after V-Day event ended and now are back to my custom ones now the update is live. I even tried setting them back the first day but, it didn’t take, now they reset on their own. Wow, Nice Job TinyCo. Yes, I really feel they have something to do with it. Maybe I should have wrote this in the WTD area. Anyway, let’s get that plutonium already. And Thanks for all your hard work with the site Ladies.

You can get a jump on things by starting Stewie on fingerprint battle plans (16 hours) while mayor west’s doing his 6 hour thing.

many of the tasks are questline specific. So they’re for something specific relating to the questline & not a standard task…

For those of us waiting to complete tasks, can you describe what “time travel” is like in the game? Do we go to a new place and time, and actually see it like a new, less modern, Quahog, or does the game just go to a cutaway for the specific period, and then return us to our Quahog? Inquiring minds want to know.

Nothing really honestly. You tap the Blimp, it disappears and comes back. You don’t change screens or anything..

I am condfused… I am on great plutonium heist part 3 and nothing is unlocked yet? How do you know where you are in the mayor quest line since no way yo check what you beat and plutonium is only quest line offered to me?

Just keep going. Some Districts you have to play into a bit in order to see the full content. It will get there. Just keep going. It is a District, meant to take your time on and last a while. 🙂
And keep checking here. Will we have more detailed info for each area as we put it together and usually a quick rundown of the questlines at the bottom of this post once WE get through it all. We still have to play it too and run it live to get the info for you. It takes time and Clams. 😉

It is more an animation. The Blimp Flashes out of the area… then back in. Kind of Back to the Future style. But all you are seeing is the flash out and in. You still stay in Quahog. Then it’s just dialog.

So what am I missing? I am on Plutonium Heist quest 3 and the Fine Arts District is still locked. I want to start repairing the land overnight. Do I need to complete all the multiples required for the brewery first?

I am at Dance hall days pt. 1. I built Olivia’s house but when I click on clear block it tells me to clear nearby blocks first. I got 13 plutonium to see if that would help. But now my plutonium count is back to 0. Don’t know what to do next other than collect more plutonium.

Did you clear all 3 blocks? Also, Stewie uses all the Plutonium each trip, so you will have to keep getting more for trips. Keep watching the main post and more coming for full details.

K then I am confused. Did you clear them BEFORE the task popped up? Or you already cleared all 3 sections of the New land in the lower left corner (18/20/22K) and now when you tap on the pop up to clear it… nothing happens? No check mark?

Oh but you can “cancel”! It’ll cost clams, but you can “cancel”.
Fast forwarding characters actions is a method of revenue for TinyCo. They will never, ever let us cancel actions for free.
If they ever do add an actual cancel feature, it’ll cost the same amount in CLAMS (not coins) as it would if you were to just fast forward the task to completion.

I started the Plutonium quest and the Art District is there but clouded over. I dont have any Wild West quest. Is that normal on an iphone?

Yes. It will be a lil bit before you actually start to clear the land. Just keep playing along with the questline, you will get there. 😉

After I heard this news I wanted to check in on my quahog and it won’t let me on everytime I try it says that there’s a data error what should I do about it?

You may have a signal issue. Try to restart your device and try again. If anything (and ONLY if you have it saved and linked to an email or Facebook) try an uninstall/reinstall too.
