Create Your Own: Beer Scene

Hello There Clammers!

One of the best things about the Quest for Stuff game is that it allows for design creativity.   No two towns in this game are alike because each Quahog is uniquely created by YOU!  Sometimes the best feature of an animation (or lack there of) not working the way you want it to is it gives you a chance to show off your own creativity!

This past week District 10 opened it’s doors wide for Clammers to create their own Beerfest!  (Just watch out for the bubble in Das Boot!)  So let’s see what you’ve done so far with your Beer Wonderland.  Use the craftable decorations or hell just put beer everywhere!

Epic Animal Weekend Walkthroughs

Hello There Clammers!

Epic Animal Weekend is upon us!  For 200 clams you can get a Flaming Chicken, Sheldon the Turtle, Jesse the dog & Patches the TRex.  (of course you can just buy 1 or 2 of them for less…but you won’t get Patches)  Now each animal comes with their own mini questline.  Each one is only 2 parts (and the first part involves buying the animal) and fairly simple to complete.  So instead of doing our usual quick walkthroughs, we thought now would be a good time to test an idea Bunny and I have been floating around for a while…FULL DIALOGUE WALKTHROUGHS!  

This is something many you have been requesting for quite some time, but due to the nature of some of the language in the dialogue we resisted retyping each walkthrough with the dialogue (for fear we’d get slapped with an MA rating…).  However, we think we may have found a workaround for it….dialogue screenshots!

Below the fold you’ll find the actual in game dialogue for each animal you buy in the form of a slideshow.  This way those of you who want to see the dialogue (or missed part of it) can still see it…and we won’t have to worry about getting slapped with that MA rating.

Remember this is still in the testing stages (we still may try different formats).  So let us know what you think in the comments below.  If you guys like this we’ll try to start doing it more (especially for premium characters)….

Oh and for those who don’t want to know the details, but just want to know who to keep free.  All 3 animals have 1hr tasks associated with them (for a character, not the animal)…

ANIMAL INVASION!! FLAMING CHICKENS!!

UPDATE: As many of you can now see in your towns, an extra Patches popped up in your game. What does all this mean? Well, in similar fashion to Carl during American Dad Event… you may be offered the opportunity to get Free Clams for watching videos. 

Just like Carl as well, these will be random and not all the time. So if you see “Sorry, there are no videos available at this time.” It is just what it says. Nothing to watch right now, so try again later.Free Clams Patches Video

The details of how long this will be around for are not available just yet and with tomorrow a Holiday, we won’t get clarification until Tuesday most likely. So enjoy the videos when you get the chance to watch them and enjoy another option offered for FREE CLAMS in the game. 

 

Hey there Clammers!

TinyCo has decided to add another fun element and mixture into our games. ANIMALS!!! For those of you that enjoy those NPC/ Moving Decoration style items (like Demented Elf, Snowman, and Mall Santas), you are going to love this one. This lil addition will run in our games until Tuesday, January 20th… 3PM PST -ish.

End Of New Year’s Event !!UPDATED!!!

UPDATE BUNNY 2PM EST: Got a LOT of clarifications back from TinyCo on the Event… so please read the ENTIRE post to see all the details/Changes. I will update it as fast as I can… 

Hey there … hmmmm… what shall I call you all this time? Friends? 😉

The mini lil New Year’s Event TinyCo gave us right at the beginning of the year is now winding down. So let’s take a look at the items involved that you may wanna grab before they’re gone. As of now we do not see a set time, but assume it will most likely be around the same… 3PM PDT. Without specifics, it is only our guess on it. Looks like 3PM will be the time.

Quahog Quick Walkthroughs: District 10 Part 1, Home Brew

Hello There Clammers!

When we last left off our District walkthroughs we had unlocked Tom Tucker, Vinny & Mayor West.  After a few month stall we pick our walkthrough back up with Jerome and a growing problem in our Tiny Quahogs……

There’s a beer shortage in Quahog!  Don’t worry Peter can convince Pawtucket Pat to start brewing beer again…and if he can’t Stewie will infiltrate them from the inside as a mini Chumba Wumba!

District 10 is where you’ll unlock the Pawtucket Brewery, Chumba Wumba Stewie and eventually Pawtucket Pat!  Plus there will be fun items to craft along the way.

Remember unlocking characters and crafting items in the Pawtucket Brewery District will take a lot of patience, as the list of “stuff” required to unlock is longer and the quantities of each are greater.  Take your time, try not to get frustrated when the items don’t appear.  Try a different task to unlock the item, or try working on a different item.

So let’s pick our walkthrough back up with Jerome, Peter and their quest to bring beer back to Quahog…

District 10 Is HERE!!!

Update: The District Page has been updated to reflect District 10 being added.  With a quick link to all posts regarding D10 (of course it’s just this post for now…but as more is added they’ll go there).   You can also access the District page from the Menu via Tips and Tricks..then Districts.  There’s also a quick link on the sidebar that will show an image of Pawtucket Brewery District.  Remember you can go to the District Page to find details, characters, walkthroughs etc for previous districts.

UPDATE BUNNY: A lot of items will be resolved in the 1.6 Updates coming… unable to unlock characters, drop down menus (Go, Item Requires) in Pawtucket Brewery, and a few other patches… so keep an eye out for it later. 

As for Lois having TWO options to drop Dulcet Tones, here is what TinyCo said on it… 

this is working as intended! Lois’ longer action time has a higher chance of dropping the item, so players can choose between the shorter or longer time based on their own schedule.

So an intended option for players to get those drops at a higher rate for a lil longer task. The choice is up to you.

Sorry for the delay on this one, both of us were traveling and I couldn’t get to a signal. Anywho… NEW LAND!!! District 10 is now open for you to start working on and clear. fg_stewiegriffin_chumbawumba

In order to start this, you would have needed to complete District 9 (Wild Wild West Mayor) and Jerome will start of the dialog to allow you to enter the new District 10 and start clearing land in “Home Brew”.
